Absolutely and I noticed that at the start of the race that Hassan was not wearing a watch and I was thinking that's very curious.

If you notice in Hassan's post race interviews she never mentions splits but just talks about how she feels and the general vibe of races in that languid style of hers.
Dutch commentators wondering if Hassan let herself drop back on purpose... I don't think so she is just following her own pace, she is a natural runner. After London she said she was surprised to suddenly find herself back in the lead group. A joy to watch.

Has whatever broadcast your watching shown the actual elevation chart of the course? I'm stunned they don't do a PIP to show people where they are on the course.
