I was dead wrong on Hobbs. I thought he was good but not great coming into the trials but holy sh!t. If he can gain a little more aerobic strength (and he will) I can’t imagine what he is going to run in the 1500 with legit 1:43 speed (and maybe faster). He has more than lived up to the hype!
A little late - but Mu is devastated. Some great breakup revenge from Brandon Miller. He can run fast, tactically that was a horrible race. Is Hobbs better at the 800m? We will find out. It will take a low low 1:42 or 1:41 to win the Olympics - I think Hoppel is do it!
The 800m is back in the USA!! We had some dead years there with Emmanuel Korir.
Super emotional interviews from the 100 hurdles. I recommend everybody follow the stories of the women in that final. It's unbelievable what some of them have gone through and it's no wonder they are all crying. Probably the most cut-throat event out there.
BAHAHAHA, Americans Overhyping runners who have easy competition. When these two don't medal in Paris, don't be surprised.
I mean Hoppel is now firmly in the medal mix. Yes, talking about a medal for Hobbs this year when he’s lost both of these races by large margins is strained but his future prospects look great.
