You posted the 1500 intentionally choosing the peak of Kenyan sub-3:30s of 2001. There’s nothing ridiculous about the roads argument, and it partly explains the depth drop-off. At 800-1500, Kenya is plenty deep. The only thing that is ridiculous is you acting like Kenyan/Ethiopians becoming a hugely dominant force on the roads is compatible with your post-EPO world view.
