What specifically in that tweet told people to kill Pence? ❓❓❓❓
Is it saying that pence didn’t have the courage? ❓❓❓
so now it looks like Justice Thomas' wife may have leaked SCOTUS info to trumpist lawyer Eastman
the two had an extensive email dialogue on how to overthrow democracy and how SCOTUS might rule on points.
My guess is that Ginni Thomas was the one who also leaked the roe v wade document. total nutcase. But if it was her it will likely be covered up to protect justice thomas and the court.
Just try for a second to think about what the GOP would be doing if the situation were reversed and the spouse of a liberal justice did all this. Just think about it. Repubs are from mars, Dems are from venus. Different ways of moving through the world.
What is so sad is that this higly partisan Jan. 6 Committee could conclude the hearings and announce that Trump has been exonerated of any and all crimes and the Liberals here on this thread (Fat Hurts, Agip, et al.) and the Joy Reids, the Rachel Maddows and the Joy Behars of the world will still insist that Trump is guilty as sin. The same thing happened with the Russian collusion. It was proved that there was NO COLLUSION but the Liberals still insist that there was.

Hilarious ... you surmise that Ginni Thomas "may have leaked the SC info" and with no supporting evidence, you jump to condemning Republicans for doing this stuff even though there is no evidence. Classiic.

As far as I’m concerned, any speculation on the leaker comes from a partisan viewpoint. It was really funny to see GOP leaders perform “angry” at the mysterious commie leaker. It was embarrassing to witness but I’m sure lots of people bought it.
The real tell will be whether or not they follow through on the decision.
In November 2020, Oregonians voted overwhelmingly to decriminalize possession of a small amount of hard drugs. Sixteen months in, the results paint a picture of failure.
Yeah, read about this whole thing last night. I was confused when I saw twitter exploding over it today as if it hadn't already been debunked... it's like people only pay attention to the news sources that align with their own biases rather than searching for a more complete understanding of the situation.
"The news sources that align with their own biases" like Townhall?
Overall, we rate Townhall Right Biased and Questionable based on consistent one-sided reporting that always favors the right and numerous failed fact checks.
As I'm sure you are aware, the story was run on several sites and news outlets - not just Townhall, and not just right leaning media. For example, both the NY Post and NY Times ran the article. Surely you aren't suggesting all of the outlets that ran the story, including the NY Times and several other traditionally left-leaning outlets, are suddenly right leaning?
Imagine being brought before a committee because there was someone that was in your vicinity the day before something happened and your not wanting to admit that... what is the point of the questioning going forward? Are they going to continue down the "you gave a tour to a crazy person and therefore aided them" and just ignore what the Capitol Police said? Is there further evidence they have yet to bring forth that has any relevance to January 6? Or is it just what it appears: they want to drag him through the mud because they sense the opportunity to do so (instead of doing what would be responsible of their job, and asking more important questions that they have some evidence to base anything on)?
If Loudermilk believes he did nothing wrong, why did he deny that he led a tour on Jan. 5?
If he believes he did nothing wrong, why did he demand investigation on Mikie Sherrill?
If he has nothing to hide, why is he refusing to answer questions from the Jan. 6 committee?
I'm not condoning what he did, but I imagine that if he believes the J6 commission to be little more than a publicity stunt by democrats to drag the GOP through the mud, I would guess he wasn't particularly thrilled by the prospect of getting in front of them for any reason. He's not the first politician to lie to try and preserve his image.
I'd imagine he might have demanded an investigation on Mikie Sherrill because she was the one that made the claim that he did something wrong with the tour.

Dems: GOP Reps gave tours
Loudermilk: How dare you. No tours.
Dems: Here's the video of you giving a tour
Loudermilk: Oh you mean THAT tour! Yes, I gave a tour to a violent insurrectionist, you publicity whore dems.

What specifically in that tweet told people to kill Pence? ❓❓❓❓
As Michael Cohen testified under oath, Trump talks like a mob boss. He didn't say it explicitly. But he knew what his tweet meant and the mob knew what it meant. That tweet would put a target on Pence's back at a time when Trump knew that his militia controlled the Capitol.
Trump needed Pence out of the way in order to execute the plain laid out in the Eastman memo. That tweet was Trump's way of telling the mob that Pence was the target. The mob got his message loud and clear.
Reportedly, Trump was quite happy when he found that his tweet had worked as intended. When Trump saw the chants of "Hang Mike Pence", he expressed his approval.

you have to ask yourself why no other president in modern times has summoned a mob to DC with sharpened flagpoles, weapons, tactical gear and a noose for the Veep. Just a coincidence that they did it for Trump? Just a wild one in a million coincidence?

Yeah, you can't even begin to call it a coincidence. Trump told his followers to be there. He told them it was going to be wild. He told them to fight like hell. Then he illegally sent them to march on the Capitol.

The committee is investigating a lot more than that one tweet. I'm not sure I understand your question.

It was a political demonstration. Very much inspired by the March on Rome. Trump is/was angling for 2024 and wanted to capture a moment. His supporters did a good job hitting a middle ground between full blown violence and just a casual stroll through the capital. Not bad enough that republicans won’t be forced to defend it.

Has the Jan 6 committee come to the conclusion that this specific tweet by Trump was a direct message to people that he was directing them to kill Pence? ❓❓❓
How many times over the years have Dems said decriminalization of drugs would solve all the problems with drugs? Well, here is our test case.
clearly the Dems are going to have to buck up their law enforcement bona fides. No one wants to give criminals a pass. But the AOC and Bernie types will scream very very loudly and hurt the Dems as much as they can if the crackdown happens.

Trump was angling for 2021 not 2024. Trump wanted to stay in power. he thought he could stay in power. he sent a mob to make it happen. The mob's goal was exactly that. To keep trump in power. Pure sedition and insurrection.
