Mass shootings have more than double and they are approaching triple since Biden took/stole the Office. Zero leadership. You all blamed Trump, but now Biden gets a free ride. What a horrible Pretend President, zero leadership. God Bless the USA as Biden is letting this happen. Scum!
In terms of owning guns and free speech, that statement has already been proven to be true. Some guns are banned. Certain speech that incites harm of others is banned.
Yup, I agree (which is why I said they were the likely frontrunners and both the country would need to wake up AND someone new enter into the mix) and I'm not a fan of this scenario.
Biden just said that no rights are absolute. Idk how that is not an impeachable statement right there.
what a tyrannical clown.

You are just as wrong as he is. Rights are absolute. the only people who disagree don’t want people to have rights.
Wow. You go on holiday for a few months and everything changes. New forum layout (looks better, brojos), looks like some new meat on this thread in the last 10 or so pages, Jen saki quits.
But I see most things are the same. Dementia joe is still pushing the country off a cliff. 👎👎👎👎Everything he touches turns to sh1t. 💩💩💩💩💩He’s still causing crisis after crisis and the trying to blame it on some one else. Trump is still living rent free in the liberal minds here. 😂😂😂😂WrongAgain is still wrong on every subject. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡Looks like whataboutinator has decided to leave the building. Probably trying to find Gina or his other thousand aliases. 😂😂😂😂😂 and speaking of aliases. Looks like agip still believes that everyone doesn’t know that he and nonequals are the same poster. 😂😂😂😂😂
can’t say it feels good to be back, but here I am. 👍👍👍👍👍
Tesla is still rated 28th out of 29 car makers or something like that.

In a society, no rights are absolute--including the most basic, the right to life--because different individuals' rights can conflict. This is a basic tenet of the law and is really not under dispute.
Joe-nomics continues to kick tushie. You boys may eventually recognize this through your ma'ga haze.
The U.S. economy added 390,000 jobs in May, extending a yearlong streak of strong gains, the Labor Department said Friday. The jobless rate remained at 3.6%. The job market is coming off an exceptional stretch in which demand vastly exceeded the supply of available workers. Employers added more than 400,000 jobs a month for 12 consecutive months, the longest period of such strong employment growth in records dating back to 1939. Competition for workers amid a severe labor shortage has driven up annual wage increases above 5% every month of this year. By contrast, wage gains averaged 3.2% in the 12 months to February 2020.

Reminder:
US Employment remains below pre-COVID numbers (though I do agree it's almost caught up).
Median Income vs. CPI remains below pre-COVID numbers.
The economic recovery started before the 2020 election was over and has relatively flatlined over the last 7 months. On the bright side, inflation has begun to slow compared to the first year of Biden's presidency - but at the same time, plenty of sectors continue to see large price increases that eat into any gains the economy makes.

If a right is not absolute, then it's not a right.
It's a temporary privilege that will be taken away the minute you need it.
Also, for comparison ... the average weekly earnings in May 2021 vs. May 2022 show a 4.3% increase, which is roughly on par with the most optimistic estimates for inflation (meaning: people aren't actually earning any more this year than they were last year). Your statement that annual wage increases above 5% every month of this year is a bit exaggerated: there was a 0.3% increase from April to May, and a 0.3% increase from March to April, and as just showed a 4.3% increase from May 2021 to May 2022.

we don't have the right to claymore our front yards or carry RPGs around. but we have the right to arms.
we don't have the right to slander and libel people but we do have the right of free speech.
Mormons don't have the right to polygamy but we do have freedom of religion.

well ok fair, but we can't just pretend COVID didn't happen. it was and is a major, world shaking event that changed almost everything economic in the country. That we are even close to getting back to normal so soon is a great testament to the US system and Dem policies.
In other words, the recovery has been very strong and Joe deserves credit for its successes.

... but the recovery started in 2020 under Trump, and has continued roughly as it was going throughout Biden's tenure. I'm not at all convinced it's fair to say the credit should go to Joe Biden for the economy recovering. You could certainly argue that Biden hasn't gotten in the way of people being rehired, but wages compared to inflation would be a hard sell (in his first year wages definitely went DOWN compared to prices, and have only now begun to flatline compared to MOST prices but still increasing slower than some pretty important prices), and saying the economic recovery was directly due to Joe Biden would be a significant overreach.
