Houlihan isn't dirty but she looks muscular and cut and runs with a strong stride but there's a backstory behind it (including a mother who was a world class marathoner moved to Arizona while she ran for ASU, how she ended up at a second tier distance school like ASU, a blood disorder) and it boils down to a very talented American runner who has somehow entered her peak competitive years with a fresh mind and body.
