Here is a thought experiment to this phrase:
"Well, freedom of speech is fine and all but they are taking their chances and got what's coming to them"
What % of Muslims worldwide would agree with that phrase?
What % of Christians would agree with that if 2 crazy christians shot up an magazine newsroom for mocking Jesus?
I'd venture a majority of muslims would agree with that phrase and therefore are tolerant to these attacks. A very small % of Christians would do the same.
Jeff,
Again the irrelevant anti gun arguments have been unequivocally reject by American Citizens over and over again. That will never change so you are wasting your time with the faux liberal anti gun arguments. America is not buying it and no one is listening to it but an extremely small faction of leftist extremist whom have no bearing on the RKBA.
There is more to just the presence of Guns to Japan vs The U.S.
Your Blind Ideological views will never allow you to see it.
Why not compare the death rate due to medical mal practice (Which kills more than any gun in the U.S.A) to that of the medical malpractice on the moon?

A 2014 Quinnipiac University poll found that 92% of Americans and 92% of gun owners support having background checks on all gun sales. A 2013 New York Times poll found that 63% support restrictions on high capacity magazines. These widely supported opinions don't find their way into successful legislation because lobbying groups are able to cajole significant numbers of legislatures into refusing to support even the most widely supported forms of gun control legislation.

So a lack of access to guns doesn't necessarily mean that private citizens are more likely to be the victims of a crime?
Open letter to Wejo,Please ban this Tyrannosauras Rexing character, if not for us then do it for his own good. The guy is a loose cannon. Check my IP Wejo, I encourage you too and you'll see that I'm none of the posters who this whack job keeps responding to with his sick demented responses. This may come as a shocker but Americans do have these things called "smart phones" and have access to the internet with said technology. Not everyone is a liberal nut job typing away on a computer in their mothers basement.
Your lack of self control is only one of many flaws that will be the end of you.
I was commenting ON you (and wejo brought it up, he was referencing you) not TO you.
"Mom's basement"........really? that's your go-to move now that "BUTTHURT!!!!!!!" has been taken from your arsenal?
"lack of self control.....will be the end of you"..... Who keep's replying? Right, you. Plus, you are the psycho gun-nut with clearly sociopathic tendencies and literally could not stop typing "LIBTARD and BUTTHURT!!" all in some insanely infantile attempt to piss me off. MY lack of "self control" ??? Too funny. And I'll bank on me being around a lot longer than you (I am talking about the "real world", something you should consider stepping outside of your bomb shelter to see, NOT "here", i.e., letsrun, because, frankly, who give an F' about this place. [I used to, before wejo let tools like you run roughshod over the place] )

Again, clinging to your faux liberal arguments is a waste of time. Yours and mine.
That last time politicians decided to ban guns based on cosmetic features and magazine capacity they all lost their jobs. The same happened again in places like CO.
Reality does not align with your fantasy no matter how many times you may repeat it.
Can't decide who is more of a cancer. Atheists or Muslims. Probably atheists.

That was weird.
Quick, of the last 10 terrorist attacks committed worldwide (or in the US if you wish) how many were committed in the name of atheism?
Seriously dude, WTF?

You don't rationalize with evil, you kill it.
And how exactly does one kill an ideology? Good luck trying to kill every single person who is now or may one day become a radical Muslim.
Of the most cancerous terrorist governments in last 100 years, how many were atheist?
Let's see-
Mao's China, Lenin's Russia, Stalin's Russia, Hitler's Germany, Mussolini's Italy, Castro's Cuba...
Wejo will check my IP and you will be wrong, hence me insisting on it. I teach Psychology at a college in Michigan, yes I'm serious. I also run having done the FPM in October (almost got under 3 hours, good for my age). I've read dozens of posts on this thread. You need to reread things. You really need help, badly. Life's existence/purpose is not to continually go around goading people into arguments and fights because someone disagrees with you. Seek help, talk to someone soon before you get too far gone. Medication could seriously help. Please look into it.

What on earth are you talking about? I didn't "protest" anything in the posted you quoted? NOOOthing. I asked him why, if he wants to be taken seriously (for once) and actually have a debate (for once), why did he ignore the one post where I addressed his oh-so-rare non-BUTTHURT post???
To Wejo, please read soon wrote:Meds will seriously help you, don't be so quick to dismiss them.
lol. A guy (maybe you? probably not..who knows?) stalks me, and harasses me, and pollutes the boards with non-stop posts SOLEY full of "LIBTARD!!! BUTTHURT!!!! HA HA HA HA !!!!!!" and you don't bat an eyelash (such posts are mature and normal, right?), but I call that guy an idiot and.....I need meds? Riiiiight.
(and the "you need meds" line. I've heard you post it many times before[I guess you think it hurts my feelings or something]. It's old. Just like the "mom's basement" line. C'mon, pick up some new insults)

You seem to be confusing communism with atheism.
I know it is difficult but start with the first letters. Communism starts with the letter 'C'. In this way it is similar to 'cookie', 'Catholicism', 'cable' and 'Coca-cola'. Atheism starts with the letter 'A'. In this way it is similar to 'apple', 'Angie's List', 'aptitude' and 'ant'.
See, it really isn't that difficult.
You seem to be sinking back in to denial because of how quickly I obliterated your dumb comment.

I see. So you are not quite up to the ABCs yet, huh? Little wonder then that you had trouble understanding what has been written here.

1) "Americans would have killed these terrorist scum bags where they stood, as we are armed..."
This is comical. There have been so many shooting in american office settings where your fantasy of everyone being armed and ready for anything, and the moment some bad guy shows up shooting his semi-automartic weapon all the "GOOD" guys take him down without any problem.........JUST......DOESN'T.....HAPPEN. It's a wet-dream fantasy of yours. Anywhere people armed with AK47's (and in america there are lots) storms an office, there is gonna be severe carnage. Like, let's say 3 bad guys stormed a 2-bit insurance office in some crappy town in GA, what would happen? They would take out each and every person in there that they wished, and you know it. And if anyone went for a gun, that person would be the first to be killed. Get Real, your Rambo fantasies are pure Bullsh-t and you know it.
2) the first responder issue: I think the cops should be armed. However, by the time these "cops" arrived, almost everyone was killed anyway. They will catch the others.
3) "RKBA." It's beyond funny that you claim that this is the big advantage of the USA over europe when the fact that we have WAY MORE TRAGIC GUN MURDERS than european countries can be DIRECTLY traced to our loose gun laws. Are you seriously on drugs? Sorry to break you out of your childish world, but: A) there's no Santa, B) "good" guys become "BAD" guys in a blink of an eye when heavily armed and they snap.
bottom line: you live in an utter fantasy world unconnected to any reality where people in the USA are SAFER because of the tons and tons of guns in this country compared to european countries that have a lot less guns. FANTASY
(now I see why you normally don't try and make actually arguments, because they are so easily stomped upon)
T Rexing, don't you know it is "fewer guns" and not "less guns?"
Those first responders to arrive at massacre in Paris were cops riding bikes with billy clubs. They were sitting ducks. If citizens with guns had guns nearby they could have intervened and saved those poor, defenseless cops. You liberals are nutty!

Micro-agression is my new favorite word. It shows how far we are supposed to go not to offend. People can get offended by anything these days so we have to magically let the PC police determine what is offensive and not offensive.
Microaggression and the college textbooks coming with warning labels that content may be offensive. When I first read about it I would have thought it was a joke in the Onion but it was in the NYTimes.

And that conflicts with what I wrote about politicians rebuffing broad public sentiment to note draw the ire of powerful lobbying groups how? You don't deny that most Americans favor background checks on all gun sales or that most support restrictions on high capacity magazine sales.

I'm still waiting to hear how, if lack of access to firearms makes a private citizen more likely to be a victim than one who has the ability to arm themselves, then why homicides in Japan are so infrequent in the face of their extremely restrictive gun ownership laws. Because criminals will just flout the law anyway, right?

That makes liberals and terrorists on the same side of the issue. Neither expect to be ever offended by those that think differently.

Thanks for the correction Sally. Hey, how many tackles did Lawrence Taylor have in his career again, what was that number you told us again, was it ZERO??

If you actually read the post you quoted, you'd realize:
I ALREADY said I support cops having guns. What was your point?
And as far as your rebuttal that "If citizens with guns had guns nearby they could have intervened", I already pointed out that LOTS of americans are armed, armed to the hilt, and somehow the "great intervention" where they all swoop in with their guns to save all the good guys from the bad guys with guns never occurs. We have WAY more mass killings like this than Europe does. This was france's worst massacre in over a decade. We have one similar to this like once a month. So much for: more guns would solve the problem. That's laughable. It doesn't stop it here. No, it makes is MORE LIKELY to occur and you know it.
