Your totally funny! Serious question would you ever own a fanny pack if it had Bekele on it? Maybe NOP will put out a Rupp fanny pack?
Geez as much as like all the serious threads I enjoy some of the fun threads. I started as 5 k fanny packer and have some great memories of me way over preparing for my 5 and 10 K s.
There is a current thread on the board on how to reverse aging. Let me add the ability laugh and take ones self not so seriously will most likely add manny more happy years.
By the way has no one on this forum over prepared for a race? I remember one of marathons debating to take a hand held bottle to hydrate because water stations were far apart. Ended up taking it now regret how stupid heavy that thing felt at mile 19 and ended up ditching it.

I think I will need it to carry my: gue, napkins, hard candy, id, change for an emergency, cell phone, a shirt to change into after the race and car keys.
Wtf? You don't need any of that for a 5k, no matter how slow you are!
can someone share other threads at least half as hilarious as this?

After reading this classic thread I want to wear a Fanny pack. When not running keep the stuff in my pack instead of my pockets.
