My understanding is its Harnden's to turn down. I can't imagine him turning down an opportunity like that, but who knows.

What's going on with Temple's distance position? Are they hiring? Have someone already working with them?
It has been quoted before on this site that Coach Harnden has quite a few properties and interests in Tallahassee. Does he have a family?
Not every Assistant Coach aspires to be a Head Coach- some of us are disgusted by the thought of it. You can certainly be less encumbered as an AC to focus on your athletes and your interests AND family. Coach has found a niche- and likely really enjoys it- why screw that up to manage a new staff/team?
Harnden's to turn down. Ill be the first to tell you that is wrong. They need somebody that has connection and can recruit. Not saying he can't coach, but there is a lot more to being a head coach.

And I'll be the first to tell you he already has an offer from them, making over twice as much as he is now.
FSU is better without him. Ken needs to go. He's worn out his welcome.
I wonder why Harden would go to Clemson when as a whole his FSU sprinters(male) have achieved some great things. It just seems like FSU would be a much better situation even if he was head coach at Clemson. Would he clean house or stay with what's there in some areas?

No, not really.
Yes, yes really
Are there others who Clemson might be interested in?
Hiring is about connections who knows whom. In regards to Clemson New AD from Georgia Tech. Why not hire someone on staff they are winning. In looking at bio's the only coach on staff with head coach experience is Chris Huffins and he was head coach and knows Dan from Georgia Tech.

Well if we are talking about Dan Radakovich, then I wouldnt be surprised if Harnden turns it down, or any coach for that matter. In that case you are right, they will hire from the inside (because Dan only cares about football and basketball, AKA money).
You must be joking (chris Huffins) if anyone hires Chris Huffins they need understands who he is, Clemson will go down hill quick

As a current naia coach, I am telling you, your posts are blatantly false.
Grow up.
How do you know ? I saw him at USTFCCA and he mentioned he was looking so its possible he has an idea of where he is headed next year.
Word is now that he may be looking for a new school, not by choice. Something to do with expenses, budget.... no real details, other than he is in a little trouble with the college.
