Have we had a final in the last while where everyone went sub-50?
First Olympic Games every single contestant ran sub-50.
Like an Arkansas practice.
Biased, of course, but even if last, Jæger is giving me hope for the 2/400 future for Norway. Henriette Jæger ran a very good time, in a bad lane, on a wet track, and on a bad track, after three races, and well within spitting distance to her own national record set at that stupidly fast Swiss track.
Mark my words, she's gonna be a major factor in any flat sprint from 100-400 before 2028.
Holy crap Anna Hall ran an insane 800m, medal or not that was a phenomenal effort
Probably not enough for Hall to get the bronze, but I respect the balls.
Hopefully she starts to get close to her PBs in her best events in the next few years. She lost a lot in them after the surgery.
The cameraman knows what he’s doing
Looks like Vidts and Kaelin ran well also, so looks like no medal for Hall
Hall equals her SB in the 800 from the Trials, nice. 2:04.39.
Her PRs are ridiculous 22.8 200 and 2:02 800. I hope we get to see her healthy enough to approach them in a world championship soon
Hall dragged everyone to 800m PBs. Nice

I can't believe Femke has run 47.xx legs yet hasn't broken 49 yet.
Because splits mean nothing. Felix has the fastest split ever recorded with only a 49.2 PB
How hard is it for NBC to put up the scores on the big screen? My god.
Thiam does nothing special for 7 disciplines and is Olympic Champion, nice.
oh damn!!!!! German shotputter gonna win it on the last throw?!?!?!

How does it feel to be an American and see that clown wearing the USA uniform and representing your country in the shot put?
It feels great.
how does it feel to be a bigoted pos?
Maybe if she spends a little less time in clown school, and a little more time practicing the shot put, she might not come DFL next time.
It's been driving me nuts. Didn't they do it for the US trials or am I imagining things? The technology is certainly there since they can show distance/time back and it's not that hard to convert it to the points table
Or does NZ come back to grab it?!?!
The scores crashed everywhere, not updating on the Olympics website either. There now

quite pathetic. they could have an unpaid intern figure it all out within about 15 seconds of the conclusion of the race.
