Bowdoin Park Classic - St. Anthony’s, Corning, Hunter Colleges top guys will be fun to watch there too along with Van Furman for the individuals. CBA NJ for anyone interested in teams outside NY.
Baldwinsville Invitational - Rematch of Ithaca and Auburn from last weekend, some other decent teams in the mix, Baldwinsville, Liverpool, Burnt Hills.
Any predictions for best team/individual performance across any of these meets?
North Rockland's also scheduled to open at Queensbury, although they have Six Flags on their schedule too, and I don't know if it's a boys team/girls team split or an A team/B team split or what. Six Flags shows individual entries, but there's like two million kids entered and it's in random order, so forget that. But I'd add Six Flags to that 'watchlist', too. There's always a bunch of NY teams there.
I'm sticking with what I said two weeks ago and watching what NR does before I hand anybody anything. I don't forsee them doing anything that's going to make me pick them for NXN. But if they can do what I theoretically think they can do, they could be a real pain in the neck as a 'bubble' team.
I see that only the North Rockland girls team is entered in Queensbury.
The North Rockland boys team is entered in the race below. looks like their varsity will be there.

Pretty sure Milesplit said the course for Bear Mountain changed. Still looks like a good performance to kick off the year, but based on how some others guys that have already run this year performed I wouldn’t expect speed ratings to be all that close to what these times would’ve gotten on the old course.
We’ll have to wait for Meylan to fully post things, but again still looks like a great start to the year.
Things feel more wide open than ever after seeing some of these results. Not a great opener by Fairport even when you throw Passalugo into the mix.
Ithaca and Auburn close again. I was really surprised by how close MW was to Saratoga. North Rockland has entered the mix now.
The premier race at McQuaid next weekend looks like it’s going to be great. Ithaca, Auburn, Saratoga and Fairport all going head to head. Looks like a great preview of the Class A states race.
Without the hill, this is a good early season performance, but that's it.
With the hill, this puts NR as a serious contender to win states. Low 15xx for your top two would be around 190SR each, probably a bit higher with the rain and mud today.

Even if they're within 5-7 points of last year's SRs, that's still a real good team.
Sitting around on a nasty, rainy Saturday afternoon waiting for a Bill Meylan data dump. Must be HS XC season in New York. 😏
