Kilbourne top 7 non-seniors Smith - 11 - 4:18 / 9:07 indoor Hawkins - 11 - 4:25 indoor Miller - 11 - 4:24 indoor Deisler - 9 - 10:17 Bradley - 10 - 10:33 / 4:51 Knuth - 11 - 10:38. Also ran a 16:40 xc 5k Klein - 9 - 10:46 / 4:55
So Deisler needs to keep stepping up, and either Bradley, Knuth, or Klein will need to close the gap on Deisler. Also, Kilboune didn’t go to state for cc last year.
Looking at past results and the meet from Yesterday, Coffman looks in much better shape for Cross Country next year compared to Kilbourne. Kilbourne has a strong top 3, but they just don’t have the depth of other teams.
I guess, my question is, which teams will make it to state from that region. Last year, Lancaster, Hil. Davidson, Dub. Coffman, Olen. Orange, and Pick. North made it there. Lancaster and Coffman look great again, but Hil. Davidson is losing 5 varsity guys, Olen. Orange loses 3 guys including 2 scorers, and Pick. North is losing 4 guys.

It won't matter when they put 2 in the top 6 at Regionals and another in the top 20. Coffman won't have anyone in the top 30.

It takes 5 to score. So Kilbourne just needs a 4th and 5th. Deisler ran a 10:17 and he’s only a freshman, which shows that he can do big things next year as a sophomore. They also just need a 5th man to keep up with Deisler.
Davidson returns these guys: Boyd - 11 - 15:46. No track results Rona - 10 - 9:59 Hayes - 10 - 4:49 Rockwell - 10 - 5:02 Shelton - 10 - 4:56 indoor Limbert - 10 - 4:57 indoor Fry - 10 - 5:14 Boyd and Rona were the only ones in Hil Davidson’s top 7 last year.
Looks like Limbert ran sub 17 on the track, but he's the only one besides Rona and Boyd. Anyone know what's going on with him?
They are really going to struggle to get very far this season unless that pack gets good fast
Boyd is hurt and has been hurt for awhile. Apparently he broke a bone in his foot. He hasn't run since mid/late XC season. I hope he can at least get healthy enough for a senior season. Even with him healthy, Davidson won't be the Davidson we're used to.

Hil. Davidson will have a down year next year, with Boyd being be the only senior. But, I think we can expect them to come back strong in fall 2024.
Do you honestly think that Kilbourne will be better than Coffman next year?
Um. Yes.
Smith is top 5 in state, and could win.
Miller is top 20 in state, and could be top 10.
Hawkins is top 20 in region, and top 60 in the state.
In a dual, these guys go 1-3 and seal the W. At a big meet (district, region, state) these three put WK so far out front it's over.
Coffman looks better on paper than they really are because of inflated times at the Berlin Bear Dash. So... you can't beat a team that goes 15:13, 15:32, 15:59 up front with a 16:30 as your top man.
What are people in Ohio looking forward to seeing this fall? Is it just the behemoth Mason & their 250 runners and then everyone else on the boy's side? What individuals will be fighting for top 10 spots? Any new up and c...
