Morris may have proven he is better than Aidan Ryan but I would not put him ahead of Phillip. Alex has won every race so far this year with ease. He ran a course record 24:27 on a historic 5.12 mile course this past weekend while not taking the lead until a k to go. If you watch videos of the finish he is jogging and waving his arms at the crowd. In 25 years of coaching I have never seen someone pull away from another top 5 in the nation runner with such ease (Simon Heys of Wilmington-Pre Nationals Champion). This is not the first time he has done this either. Watch the D3 Glory Days videos of him on twitter. What about when he set the D3 record at Paul Short? Someone said Morris is going 23:50 for the win, in my mind if he runs that time he will be left in the dust. Im not saying Phillip is certainly going to win, just the favorite.
