Interesting look at the top and bottom 5 states in terms of residents vaccinated and the 14-day change in Cases, Deaths, Hospitalizations.
States with Highest % of Residents Vaccinated

NM: -12%, -5%, -14%
AK: -12%, +14%, +31%
SD: +17%, -15%, -24%
CT: +38%, -28%, -4%
ME: +13%, +29%, +5%
States with Lowest % of Residents Vaccinated
(14-day change in Cases, Deaths, Hospitalizations).
GA: -24%, -50%, -32%
AL: -32%, -38%, -28%
TN: +17%, -15%, -24%
UT: -12%, -5%, -14%
MS: -23%, 58%, -22%
Only one of the states with the lowest vaccination rate is seeing an increase in cases over the last 2 weeks while 3 of the best states are. Two of the best states are seeing rises in both deaths and hospitalizations while none of the poorly vaccinated states are.
There could be several reasons for this (relaxed restrictions, less adherence to guidelines, geography, etc.).
Those are some interesting statistics. Seems like a lot of people are still wearing masks in Midtown Atlanta at least, so I'm not too surprised to see GA cases go down even with the poor vaccine performance.

they aren't trolling...they really think the Republican version of America is the real version of America.
They think the Dem version of America is trying to usurp the real Americans.
That feeling expresses itself all over the place. This is just one example.
They think the Repuvlican rioters are trying to keep the country and the Dem rioters are trying to change it into something else.
Well we do need to change America into something else. I'll readily admit to that. Change is good.

They just aren't. They are sponsoring bills targeting Dem voting in many, many state legislatures.
Why? Becuase they know they can't win if Dems vote at the levels they voted in 2018 and 2020.
So, the Rs have given up on democracy and favor a form of ethno-minority rule.
This really isn't debatable.
IMO this is both fair and accurate.

"There's a fundamental difference between Democrats and Republicans," Kavanagh said in comments to the news outlet. "Democrats value as many people as possible voting, and they're willing to risk fraud. Republicans are more concerned about fraud, so we don't mind putting security measures in that won't let everybody vote—but everybody shouldn't be voting."
You bolded a lie.
Please show where Democrats are willing to risk fraud to get more people to vote.
They simply want more people to vote. That's it. Nothing fraudulent.
You are implying they want to change votes or double count votes or make up results.
Show me Democrats risking fraud.
We saw Trump asking Georgia Secretary of State for votes. That's fraud.
Those last two sentences are a lie. Stop spreading fake news,
WaPo retracted the story.

The headline of your link is a lie: a deliberate attempt to mislead.
The WaPo had a story about a call to the GA SoS's *chief investigator* and got a quotation wrong, then retracted it. The essence of the quotation was correct; the wording was not.
This is entirely distinct from DJT's phone call to the SoS himself. THAT call is the basis for a criminal investigation.
Many people have been conflating the two phone calls in question, both of which were recorded. It is important to remember that Donald Trump's phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State (NOT the one to the his investigator) did indeed ask the SoS to help Trump "find votes," and did pressure the SoS to do so.
So LL's last two sentences were TRUE and not "a lie."
Be it noted, "GOPUSA" is not an organ of the Republican Party but a private conservative outfit. "Overall, we rate GOPUSA as right biased based on story selection and mixed for factual reporting based [on] a failed fact check."

Correct. We all heard the recording. There is no doubt that Trump was pressuring the Secretary of State to "find" votes. In fact, that's exactly what Trump said.
Trump said: “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”
Trump is going to prison unless he flees to Turkey first.

Remarkable, intelligent Americans know the vaccine roll out and logistics since Biden took office have been phenomenal. This IS the main issue of today, that’s why the Trump fan boys here are ignoring the vaccinations and focusing on the fake outrage about the border.

Well, the answer is likely both. They may be retarded but look at the people they are representing. Of course most of these elected officials know exactly what they are doing. This is simply how they keep their jobs, and can crime on the side without worrying about consequences.

THat Rs have got a pass for their miserable record and massive corruption.
Example: Trump's crimes equal Obama's tan suit.
But now the Rs have gone off into anti-democracy land. Will the press keep both-sidesing things?
Or will the press finally call it as it is: One major party disinclined to support democracy, and instead in favor of sedition and voter suppression.
Left leaning media has been calling the GOP out on voter suppression for decades, but tzees only watch FOX and listen to conservative radio. A lot more attempted destruction of our democracy is to come. They will do anything to hang on their declining votes.
No respect for those in uniform. Just wait til she takes over for Joe. At least Joe used to offer up a salute when he was VP.

Reminder that every spring there is a surge like this at the border, and it increases until it gets too hot to travel on foot.
Also reminder that the 2019 surge was significantly larger than this one, so in a sense, so far, Biden has reduced illegal immigration at the order, compared to 2019. (2020 was a special year because covid).
Corollary to this is that when crossings start dropping in May and June, it's because of the weather, not successful US policy. The tides will come every spring and there's little we can do about it. Other than try to build up the economies of source nations.
We know you are Sally.
So please give Biden the praise you said you would for the vaccine distribution.

Immigration like this is also the result of decades of various policies, almost like the economy. Barring major policy change or legislation, I'm not sure how much any president should credit for increasing or decreasing immigration at the border
