This is just silly. You can always come up with a contrived example using the most expensive Supercharger location, used at the most peak time, when the battery is almost full and it's charging slowly.
But most charging is not even done at a Supercharger. It is done at home or an office or a shopping center, where charging is free or super-cheap.
The fact remains that an EV is almost always several times cheaper per mile.

Just as an example, an average gas car gets about 25 miles per gallon.
At $4.00 per gallon, that 16 cents per mile.
I get 4 miles per kWh in my EV and I charge at home.
At $0.12 per kWh, that's 3 cents per mile.
You should have bought an EV when Biden and I were telling you to.

I didn't know that gas prices would rise 50% because of Biden.
President Biden would like for everyone to start the switch to electric cars, mostly because of the environmental benefits. But a big part of the appeal of electric vehicles (EVs) is that they’re cheaper to operate, or so mos...
Any money you save on fuel you spend on buying or repairing the vehicle... You basically spent $80k to replace the windows in your house to save $50 a year on your energy bill.
Since Trump called Putin a strategic “genius,” Putin has destroyed his own economy, alienated his oligarchs, caused two new applications to NATO and a new application the EU, strengthened a frayed transatlantic alliance, lost his flagship plus huge numbers of troops and generals.

Great job.
EVs require far less maintenance than gas cars because gas cars have about 100 times the number of moving parts. Repair bills on a gas car go way up as the car gets older. But that doesn't happen much for an EV because there isn't much that can go wrong.
Consumer Reports has studied this extensively and found that the total cost of ownership of an EV is far less than that of a gas car. Other studies draw the same conclusion.
The up front cost of an EV tends to be more, but you save a lot of money in the long run.

Gas prices have risen all over the world. Biden didn't cause it.
EVs run on electricity, which will always be far cheaper than gas.
All I know is that EVERYTHING was better under Trump. The stock market was humming along, inflation was super low, no wars, gas prices low, just on and on how everything is so much worse under Biden. $2.8 billion deficit last year ... YIKES!

if you need a memory of what it was like when trump was president, the DOJ may give you a reminder. Just not now. Later. Maybe in 6 or 7 years after they think about all this a couple hundred more times. It does take a decade or more to investigate crimes, it does. Could take more. Possibly an entire generation.
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has asked the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack for transcripts of interviews it is conducting behind closed doors, including some with associates of former President Donald J. Trump, according to people with knowledge of the situation. The move is further evidence of the wide-ranging nature of the department’s criminal inquiry into the events leading up to the assault on the Capitol and the role played by Mr. Trump and his allies as they sought to keep him in office after his defeat in the 2020 election.

Crime - UP. Grocery prices - UP. Gas prices - UP. Car prices - UP. Airfare - UP. Energy cost - UP. Baby Formula - Unavailable. There is not one single thing that is better now than when Trump was president.

sally you lose credibility when you make unsustainable claims.
take a minute, think it through and make a more balanced, truthful statement. I gave you some ideas. Maybe going from 3000+ covid deaths per day to today's 300 per day would be a start for you. but there are many ways for you to go on this.

Other studies don't.
Wrong. Every reputable study shows EV cost of ownership is lower.
This is just a back-of-the-napkin comparison, with many flaws. You need to look at more comprehensive studies. And this article only follows the cars for three years. A three year comparison front-loads the upfront cost, which is typically higher for an EV.
When you go beyond three years, the gas car cost keeps climbing in comparison to the EV.
Gas cars depreciate faster than electric. So the longer you own it, the more it tilts in favor of the EV.
Gas cars tend to start breaking down more later in life. So the longer you own it, the more it tilts in favor of the EV.
With a longer time horizon, the difference in gas versus electricity continues to build and build. So the longer you own it, the more it tilts in favor of the EV.
Lastly, the comparison uses models that have both a gas and electric version. This is a terrible way to compare because these models were built as gas-powered then retrofitted to electric. A car that is designed to be an EV from the start will be a lot more efficient and trouble-free.
