A friend and colleague died on Thanksgiving night after his aorta detached. Early 50s, ran Berlin earlier this year, jogged his local Turkey Trot that morning. Horrible.
Seize the day, folks.

Monday - 68 min - Easy jog in the afternoon sun.
Tuesday AM - 74 min - Felt OK but my strides were slow as sh*t. Still tired from the workout on Saturday.
Tuesday PM - 30 min - Shuffle on the treadmill.
Wednesday - 100 min - Trail workout. 12x (2' hard uphill, 1' walk/jog downhill). Also did 12x 30" on/40" off on the roads.
Thursday - 69 min - Best run of the week. My youngest and I did the Turkey Trot with her dressed up as Cindy Lou Who, our dog wearing antlers and me as the Grinch. Than a long, easy, solo jog home. (In the costume.)
Friday AM - 76 min - Still tired from Wednesday so I took it very easy.
Friday PM - 31 min - Treadmill
Saturday - 100 - Easy with 6x20" strides and 6x10" hill sprints.
Sunday - 120 - Wasn't feeling it so I skipped my workout and paced a friend through his last tempo session before CIM next week.
Totals - 80.7 miles
