You're both missing that honest, normal people view Biden and the Democrats in just as negative a light as you view Trump.
I don’t think many people miss that. So that’s an example of one of the very striking things you say. I believe people like the name callers on this board tend to have a highly narrow and uncharitable view of those honest, normal people (while still granting them sufficient honesty and normalcy). Still others look at all of the balance of the evidence and think it’s a slam dunk that Trump is the path you don’t come back from. And they’ve arrived at the balance that evidence by looking at people who hold your values, and who are lifelong conservatives, not by restricting themselves to viewpoints that only and always align with their own (that’s not to say that you do or that the vast majority of Trump supporters do that). And I am inclined to disbelieve the guy with the biggest history of lying, of being disengaged, of being evasive when asked for facts or details. I am inclined to disbelieve people who trust their sources (The way Trump does with certain advisors and many of his supporters have done with Fox News) and then abandon them the very second they offer perspectives that aren’t flattering to the hearer. This wouldn’t be pure and perfect of its own accord, but it holds true enough for present purposes: there are way more lifelong, centrists, and very conservative Republicans, who consider Trump a threat to democracy then there are lifelong leftists and centrist, who consider Biden and his ilk to be such threats. This wouldn’t be pure and perfect of its own accord, but it holds true enough for present purposes: there are way more lifelong centrists and very conservative Republicans who consider Trump a threat to democracy than there are lifelong leftists and centrists who consider Biden and his ilk to be such threats. And it’s not even close. And that’s not because in current America there is enough of a skewed distribution of closed-mindedness and circling the wagons to explain that away.
Infant in our Room, wasn't Bill Barr running the DOJ in 2019 ?!? (and protecting Trump !)
1 political appointee at the top isn't really running the show.
Weiss was a Trump appointee and he was actively helping the Biden's in Hunter's investigation. He did such a good job working for the Biden's that corrupt Garland broke DoJ rules to appoint him as the Special Counsel.
One boat is being steered by a guy that’s extremely delusional. That according to you, thinks he won an election that he clearly lost and is now facing 91 felony charges.
Which Trump policies were "extremely delusional"?
Policy is much more important than personality.
And the 2020 election was decided by a few thousand votes. Nothing about the election is clear other than the fact that it was the first mass mail in voting election in US history and they botched it.
He was going to lock up Hillary. Mexico was going to pay for the border wall. Better cheaper healthcare, Infrastructure week...the list is YUGE
The election wasn't decided by a few thousand votes.
Except, you are picking crimes and anarchy. The only candidate facing criminal charges is the guy you’re picking. On top of that, you’re advocating ignoring the law to continue your support.
Biden will be facing actual criminal charges before it's all said and done. He's been using the FBI and DoJ to protect his crime family for years.

You know all this.
May of Trump's inner circle had to talk Trump out of some of his most insane policy ideas. They had to use picture boards and drawings because his attention span was nil and he does not like to read anything.
At times they needed to call in Ivanka because they weren't getting through to him on some crazy idea he had in his head.
Oh yeah! Trump has some great policies alright. He is quite a deep thinker regarding what is best for the US.

Hillary committed multiple felonies. They are trying to lock Trump up for less.
The millions of illegals that have entered the US and the tens of thousands of raped children since Biden took office would suggest that a border wall wasn't unreasonable.
We've spent more repairing damage from Democrat riots than 10 walls would have cost.
You're listing failed campaign promises as delusional policies.... while defending Biden who says he cured cancer...
There were over 150 million votes cast in the election and Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia were decided by less than 45,000 votes combined. Without those 3 states Biden isn't president.
HA!!!! now that's delusional. Getting charges from a Black Panther isnt really something you ought to lay your hat on. he will smash those charges, else SCOTUS will. the key will be you maniacs trying your mightiest to keep him off the ballots which, win or lose, you Communists will most certainly attempt to do
It's not 1968 gramps. I know it hurts you to see a person of color in a position of authority. But, here in 2023 those charges are real and they will be prosecuted.

Apparently only you see color. Black Panthers a group, of which she was raised into. if truth hurts it hurts, but it remains the truth. that’s your lynchpin young child.
Why is it that the most damning evidence of Trump's incompetence, lying, and general unfitness to ever serve in political office all come from people that Trump himself hired? By lifelong Republicans that have no interest in Democratic policies? We don't see that with George Bush, Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama.
Could it be that Trump is truly incompetent and corrupt and that Trumpers are the last few people that don't get it or don't care?
I know that’s exactly what many of them feel, and the crux of my argument is not that they’re 100% wrong, they’re totally blind to reality, or that they don’t value a number of worthwhile things. It’s that the pros and cons tilt obviously in one direction one direction. And you’ve listed a number of your values. I look at the hordes of people on the right, who have a long hold similar values, yet consider Trump an abomination and ultimately a barrier to achieving their best aims for the long term. I don’t come up with this stuff by watching MSNBC, giggling at Jordan Klepper’s selectively edited takedowns, and hinging all my thoughts on a caricature of the other side. I have more respect for other people and far too much self-respect to do that.
The pros and cons don't obviously tilt in one direction.
Radical republicans make it hard to murder your baby.
Radical democrats will ruin every aspect of your life.
I don’t believe fully in horseshoe theory, but there are many reasons I would never support Trump as a candidate. A very small portion of those those are these: his lying, his demands for unstinting loyalty, and the hyperpartisanship he leans into (along with things like gerrymandering) give more power to fringe elements on both sides. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that he’s pretty consistently been, arguably, the most deeply us-versus-them candidate in at least a century. He doesn’t just lie; he actively subverts the potential for shared facts and shared truth. Thoroughly rebuking him is not by any means the only step toward a better place, but it’s an important first step (or early step).

I'm convinced You, the moron in the room and the kook ranting about the deep state are all the same person.
I'll give you credit. You've kept this thing alive for way longer than expected.

Which policy did he have that was problematic?
He fired people like John Bolton for lack of shared vision not lack of loyalty. The president should be allowed to surround himself with people that agree with what he's trying to do. Trump tried to end the war in Afghanistan and the neo-cons went nuts because he was threatening to turn off the gravy train. Biden only got away with it because he turned on a new gravy train in Ukraine.
Biden lies constantly. Why do lies only bother you when you're politically opposed to the liar?

She had classified documents on a private server and destroyed evidence while under subpoena.
Sex trafficking is huge problem with illegal immigration and it's common knowledge that women and children being smuggled by the cartels are routinely raped in transit. You briefly pretended to care about the kids in cages when Trump was president but now that a Democrat is back in you haven't been told to pretend so you don't.
Mexico's economy is based on the US. If wanted to make them pay for the wall directly it would easily be doable.
Trump had far fewer failed campaign promises than most presidents.
And yes 45,000 is very few when there's 150,000,000 votes in a country of 330,000,000+ people. Particularly when the winner behaves as if they have a mandate.
Welp, Trump has been advised by his legal reps to cancel his upcoming Monday press conference because they fear he will say something stupid or incriminating. They hope he "pleads the 5th" :)
Former President Donald Trump's promised press conference to refute the allegations in the indictment handed up by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office is now very much in doubt, multiple sources familiar with the mat...
