As I heard someone mention on the radio this morning, interesting that some white people who's relatives came here in the 19th and 20th centuries think that it might make at least some sense to kill black Americans whose relatives largely came here in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. And yes, against their will, no less.
Makes sense. They read stuff on the internet. They know things.
Back in the 19th century, many Americans were scared of being replaced by Irish and German immigrants... you know, people like Trump's grandfather. ;)
There is no doubt that the percentage of the white population is going down. And that's just fine with me.
But Great Replacement Theory says that this phenomenon is due to a deliberate and coordinated conspiracy.
Why won't any of you answer these simple questions? It really is very simple. I'll show you.
“Do you believe in the replacement theory?” (my answer is "no") “Do you condemn the replacement theory, or do you support the ideology that has inspired numerous mass terrorists?” (yes, I condemn it)
I've never seen any instance of someone on the American left who subscribes to Great Replacement Theory.
Well, this shooter was one of them, so now you know at least one.
I have nothing to answer for and see no need to answer your questions.
I have seen no evidence that the shooter espoused left wing ideals.
We ALL have to answer for this. This is a racist theory that has infected a large part of the Republican party. If we find it on the left, we need to condemn it there too.
But you are afraid to answer these simple questions. Why are you afraid?

Um he was a left winger. He said so. He also liked socialism and "green nationalism." He hated Christianity and Fox News.

I tend to think that the media (and you) are currently going a bit too far with wrapping up murderous racism in the phrase "replacement theory." I think that a crapload of Americans - including a lot of Trumpers themselves - don't know what it defines.
But here are some of the age-old core questions that still apply, regardless of the racial conspiracy theory du jour:
- Do you think that racial and/or ethnic and/or religious minorities in the U.S. are inherently inferior? Perhaps even worthy of derision and/or violence?
- Do you assume that the cultures from which they come are inherently inferior to yours?
Oh, and also, "Do you think that there is still SOME chance that Mexico might STILL pay for the 10 feet or so of boarder wall that Trump erected ???"
I mean, adult's STILL expecting the big election bombshell, so he's likely at lease one "Yes" to this last question.....

Um he was a left winger. He said so. He also liked socialism and "green nationalism." He hated Christianity and Fox News.
He also said he was a white nationalist, fascist, neo-Nazi, and an anti-Semite. These are all typically associated with the American far right.
This was a kid who probably didn't understand the full meanings of the terms he used. How he labeled himself is of little value.
What he actually believed and the actions he took are what is important. And he clearly believed in Great Replacement Theory and targeted African-Americans because of this belief.
I suspect that you are afraid to answer these questions because you would be embarrassed if you answered honestly. You need to take a look at yourself and decide what you really believe about this racist conspiracy theory.

I'm happy to answer your questions. I'm not embarrassed to share my beliefs.

No race is inherently inferior to another. No race is worth of derision and/or violence.
- Do you assume that the cultures from which they come are inherently inferior to yours?
No culture is inherently inferior to another.

I believe that their is no global conspiracy, but the day of white male supremacy in the United States is now long passed. Every year the white population of this country as a percentage drops. Every year more and more jobs are outsourced to India, China and Mexico as well as a bunch of other countries. This is globalization where the jobs go to the lowest bidder who has adequate technology to exploit them. The standard of living in high GDP countries gradually falls and those in the developing ones gradually increases. Meanwhile, jobs in certain domestic industries become increasingly manned by people from the same countries we are outsourcing to. These people bring their families to the United States where they start small businesses like hotels, Duncan Donuts, and 7-elevens. Their children become lawyers and doctors. On the other end of the economic spectrum, the lower paying jobs in the economy are manned by economic immigrants from the South. At the end of the day you get a population of marginalized people who used to have a great future in manufacturing jobs even if they were lazy students in high school, but don't anymore. They want the lives their parents had and are easy targets for conspiracy theories. I too long for those bygone days, but even if Trump regains power the opportunity to force our trading partners to give out job back is already gone.

actually the standard of living in rich countries has risen. Of course it has risen. F150s don't pay for themselves.
but yeah you can't just go to HS, have no skill and expect to make a good living in America.
but if you have a skill in America, you will do very, very well and have a fine standard of living.

Fat Hurts doesn't care about facts. He simply ignores them. We showed him 300 instances of the left-wing media referring to the BLM co-founders and to this day still insists that there are no BLM co-founders. He outright rejects anything that doesn't jive with his radical left-wing ideology. You have to salute him for his conviction no matter how off-based it is.
An economy based on manufacturing jobs in other countries and that is based on Service industry jobs, is not resting on a solid foundation. You are like the energizer bunny with your "everything is rosy" trolling. You pee on my leg and tell me its raining. Well it worked and you got me tweaked this time, because globalization has robbed me of what I believed that was my due back in high school. My global company turned off the pension that I was promised. So yeah I am sore and yeah it sucks that I am in the first generation of Americans who will have a lower net standard of living and a more sketchy retirement than the one which came before me. I don't know where this fairy tale economy you speak of resides, but it's not anywhere near me.
I know what is going on in my hometown and I know what is going on with my life. And it ain't sunny and it ain't rosy. Where does all this income for the people who work in Starbucks and the Saint Louis Bread company come from? Where will it be when the pensioners from the greatest generation and boomers aren't around anymore and Social Security is broke?

I'm sorry you have having tough time.
but you are a small sample.
living standards have risen in this country, overall.
Sorry you have not been able to participate.
But stop saying that you are representative of the nation, or this 'generation' has a lower standard of living than previous generations. Do not extrapolate from your troubles to the nation.

guys like this should drive through the suburbs and exurbs of an American city. They might be amazed by the wealth. Or just use google maps to 'drive' through them virtually.
guys like brandon live in a dingy broken down place and extrapolate to believe that's what it's like past their borders.
It isn't. The wealth in this country is astonishing. Just think...the *average* house costs over $300k now. 1/3 of households make more than $100k now. The average new car is over $30k. People have enough money to pay for that. Think about it.
Americans have tremendous amounts of money, on average.
Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending October 27, 2022.

You're guilty of what you're accusing someone else of. How completely unsurprising...
