Ol' Spanks might be the worst judge of character and employer of ALL TIME. Just exactly not the kind of person you want as president. Or leader of any organization on the planet, let alone the most powerful army in the world. Remember he pledged to surround himself with the best people. So this is the best he could do.
TILLERSON - “Dumb as a rock.” JOHN KELLY - “No temperament” “He got eaten alive” “Unable to handle the pressure of the job.”
MARK ESPER - “Weak and totally ineffective.” “A lightweight.” REINCE PREIBUS - “Weak” “A disgrace” JEFF SESSIONS - “Weak and ineffective” “Dumb southerner” “Mentally retarded” “Disgraceful” “Scared stiff” “Idiot” “Mr Magoo”
STEVE BANNON - “Sloppy Steve cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog.” BILL BARR - “Never had the energy or the competence to do the job.” “Slow and boring.” TOM PRINCE - “Disappointing” “I’m not happy.”
MICK MULVANEY - “F*caked it all up.”
JOHN BOLTON - “Washed up” “Disgruntled boring old fool” “Never had a clue.” “Dope” KIRSTJEN NIELSEN - “Too short” “Didn’t look the part” “Not tough enough.”
Imagine how dumb you need to be to think the president has time to sit down and interview 1500 people... He was an outsider and he made the mistake of taking the advice of swamp creatures on who to appoint to fill positions. He doesn't like neo-cons. That's a good thing. Neocons are garbage.
These are some of the most important jobs in his administration. And you are saying Trump was too stupid to vet and interview them before giving them these positions.
heh. just heh. pwor liddle twumpie couldn't hire who he wanted awwwwwwww I feel so bads for the liddle guy!
seriously tho, your response is f'd up. these are among the most powerful people in the world, hired by him to work by his side and he thinks they were terrible hires. and you trust him to to better? you trust any decision he makes after he admits those were horrible decisions?
It is sad how naive you are...
When people don't share the vision of the boss you get rid of them.
People who want jobs tend to say whatever they think the boss wants to hear to get the job.
A good boss knows how to hire good people who won't disappoint him. Trump is apparently a very bad boss.
"the disinfectant" being discussed was not hydrogen peroxide. Trump was responding to what Bill Bryan said about bleach and isopropyl alcohol. Only a moron would respond thinking that it might be a good idea to use these disinfectants internally to kill covid. He had already been told it was a stupid idea in private. But even then he was dumb enough to repeat his stupid idea in public.
It was a national embarrassment and it's why Trump stopped doing daily covid briefings.
fats, I agree with you 90% of the time, but not here. Trump was just sort of extemporizing. you are drawing too firm a line between what he said and 'bleach.' The key phrase is 'something like that.' Trump didn't say 'inject bleach.'
Kind of a BS distinction. He sounded like a MASSIVE moran. Like, the dumbest kid in a 7th grade science class. But the POTUS, speaking to the world. Making his advisor absolutely squirm. So bad that folks who apparently couldn't normally convince him to stop talking apparently SUCCEEDED in getting him to stop talking (about COVID). That's probably REALLY saying something!
No, I think that Obama and Biden would EASILY know that Patriot missiles are surface-to-air. In fact, any casual watcher of the news since the freakin' Gulf War over 30 years ago knows this.
But Trump couldn't be concerned with silly little facts like that.....as the CinC. Too busy scheming and lying and eating and......
Oh stop.. Obama probably think "patriot missiles" are what rednecks call bottle rockets.
Biden doesn't know what day it is.
YOU didn't know what a Patriot missile was until you read the article.
Trump was very good militarily. You disagreeing simply means you're either a neocon or a liar...
Anybody who was an adult during the Gulf War should know what a patriot missile is.

It's embarrassing that you still don't understand what he said.... lol.
We all understood what he said all too well.
It was a national embarrassment and it's why Trump stopped doing daily covid briefings.
But that's NOT what you say. You claim that people don't know what was said. They do. And because Trump is such a perfectly transparent moran, those people need ZERO help from the dreaded MSM to determine EXACTLY what he meant. NO ONE is being brain-washed about what Trump EVER meant about just about ANY thing. HE told us.
And then hide behind BS like "context." Trump asks to find 11K votes, and you claim the reader doesn't understand the "context" like your big brain does. 100% BS.
Your hatred of the man makes you incapable of viewing the words through anything but a negative lens.
Context matters.
Trump believes there was rampant fraud in the 2020 election. The evidence is on his side.
You've got things perfectly backwards. The judgement of the man springs directly from his words. Not the other way around. Funny, too, how you credit him for "thinking out loud." Yep, he talks a lot. Giving us all LOTS of data for our view of him. He ain't hiding in the WH, making us dependent on the MSM for interpretation. No corruption of the view from lensing or mis-perceived context, or anything else.

I never said anything about injecting bleach and neither did Trump.
But what Trump said was monumentally stupid. We all heard it and deemed it stupid. He was told beforehand it was stupid by some of the smartest medical minds in the country. But he went out and repeated his stupid idea anyway.
EV's are so popular you can't sell one that isn't a Tesla... and even the Teslas only sell well in other countries. lol...
Rivian makes awesome cars. They sell every one they can make. They just can't make enough right now because ramping up production is really, really hard.
This is true for almost every EV on the market. EVs are unbelievably popular and there is a long waiting list for almost every EV model out there from every manufacturer.
Trumpers do hate the US. Another of the revelations from Esper's book is that in a meeting of the joint chiefs he ranted about how we have a third rate military.
Imagine that. We have the greatest fighting force in the history of mankind and Trump has the unpatriotic gall to tell the joint chiefs that we are thrid rate.
The military was greatly diminished by 20 years of insurgency ops with cavemen.
The Navy in 2016 was the smallest it had been since the 1930s.
Trump was comparing the military to its former self...
You're so busy hating the scary orange man even common sense statements fly right over your head.
The military has grown stronger in the last 20 years than it has ever been.
The Navy is also stronger than it was 20 years ago. We don't need as many ships because the new ones are so much better.
You are a fool if you think our military has not gotten stronger and stronger with the use of technology and the hard work of our fighting forces.
Biden and I both tried to tell you to get an EV. You just wouldn't listen.
There's a ~12 months waiting list for those who want EVs. For others, many people work jobs that require a larger gas-powered vehicle. Then, there are people who drive around all day doing home visits and don't have time to stop for recharges. And, there are tons of people who can't afford an EV, which still costs a lot more than gas money. Buying an EV is only a solution for SOME people, who are by and large already buying way more EVs than can be produced right now.
This is mostly correct. There aren't enough EVs to go around yet.
There are very few jobs that can't be done with an EV. If you have a job where you drive around all day, you probably won't need to charge. Very few jobs need 250 miles of range each day.
And yes, there are those who can't afford the up front price of an EV even though it would save them money in the long run. That's one of the reasons why Biden wants to expand the EV tax credit for used EVs.
Most of us here would have been better off buying an EV back when Biden and I were telling you it was a good idea.
Since when did Republicans care about feeding our babies? Republicans tell us that if you are poor it's your own fault and your children deserve to starve.
Democrats love killing unborn babies. You lose.
Both parties refuse to respect the sanctity of human life. Everyone loses.

Wait, I thought Trump hired "only the best people"?
