Looks like I am checking in first this weekend. Lots of fun college XC results to see this weekend. I am getting some personal experience with post-Covid fatigue this week as I try to get my training towards Club XC back on track. My resting HR was up a couple of bpm all this week, my Hrv average is down, and on most of my walk/runs my HR has been 25-30 bpm higher than usual. I did get in a very uneven 18 miles this week, as follows -
M- 2mi with 1mi walk, 1mi easy run with 6x100m easy strides in it.
T- 4mi very easy run 10:50/mi.
W- 7mi with AM 4mi with 2mi easy, then 200M at 5k pace, 1,000M at 5k pace (4:09), 1mi easy; PM 3mi fast walk pushing a stroller.
Th- too tired to run
F- too tired to run
S- 2mi walk
Su- 3mi with 1mi walk, 2mi with 15x100 easy strides.
Hopefully, this morning's effort won't tire me out as much as my Wednesday workout did.
