The Supreme Court rules 9-0 that Boston (and by extension state and fed government) buildings may fly the Christian flag on their grounds. Boston had a law in place prohibiting this and SCOTUS ruled that city law is a violation of the First Amendment.
Just more evidence that Democrat & Christian is impossible.
Are you OK with the fact that flag rules state that the Christian flag must fly lower or be given less prominence than the American flag? That's what will happen now.
As a Christian, I think the Christian flag should have prominence over the American flag. So I'd just rather not see them flown together than to follow the US flag rules.
Boston violated the Constitution. SCOTUS overruled and rightly so. That is all.

But I asked a different question and I'm interested in your answer.

Elon was wrong on this one. Hasan was only saying that a portion of Republicans are neo-nazis, which is definitely true.
But I love it that Republicans are starting to see Elon as a hero.
there's a theory that elon is trying to make teslas look cool to right wingers...that they now think anyone with an EV is a commie pinko gay... and the twitter buy/defense of 'conservatives' is one attempt to end that.
another theory is that elon will use twitter to try to break up the laws that don't let tesla sell directly through bricks and mortar.

I've heard both of those theories.
The first is sort of plausible.
The second one doesn't make any sense to me. Garnering favor with Republicans helps a little, but I don't see how Twitter really makes the difference in overturning the stupid dealership laws that keep Tesla from selling direct in some states.
By the way, for anyone who isn't familiar, the issue is not online vs. brick-and-mortar. It's that many states prohibit auto manufacturers from selling directly to the public. You have to go through an independent dealer like "Joe Blow Ford/Lincoln/Mercury".
If you live in one of those states, your Tesla gets delivered to a different state without those rules. Then you buy it in that other state and have it shipped to your house.
Ironically, the newest and largest Tesla factory is in Texas. Any Texans who wants a car from that factory have to get it shipped out of state before they can buy it.
Better question is why Democrats choose to pick fights with Elon, from Elizabeth Warren falsely accusing him of not paying taxes, to Bernie Sanders saying he shouldn't go to space "because we have problems here," to Joe Biden snubbing him at EV summits to whatever the latest freakout is.
I know Democrats have to attack the billionaires but they chose to go after one who is popular and gets things done that people like. Total unforced error.

That rule is also probably unconstitutional so you don't have to follow it
No big deal - former potus' instinct was to shoot protestors. What could go wrong with a president with those instincts?
Sam Stein @samstein
- Fmr Defense Secretary Mark Esper charges in a memoir out May 10 that former President Trump said when demonstrators were filling the streets around the WH following the death of George Floyd: "Can't you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something?"
Claim the president wanted to shoot protesters vs. a protester actually being shot and killed by the cops for Biden's coronation.
Good job. Just earlier today I called your Trumper arguments, if memory serves, pathetic, dishonest, and un-American. And you hit 2 out of 3 before dinner. Pathetic doesn't count, because what you wrote above is far more disgusting than simply pathetic.
You portray defending congress against an as***** mob of violent, pathetic, sore loser cultists as equivalent to Trump wanting to shoot civil rights activists. And the pure immaturity of pretending like respecting the results of an election is the same thing as a coronation. You just s*** so badly.
Democracy aside, you top it off with the gross hypocrisy of claiming to be "pro-police" on a highly selective basis. That cop shot a white, pro-Trump anti-democracy rioter. Bad. But I have zero doubt you're fine with the multitude of thuggery committed by bad cops against minorities in a given day. And you were perfectly OK with Trump besmirching federal law enforcement agents on a regular basis. Yeah, you're pro-police. And a patriot. And not a Trumper. Right.
Tucker's on in 2.5, settle in for your nightly fix.

I agree. Elon is not your typical billionaire. Going after him was stupid.

There is probably some law that says federal buildings have to follow the rule.
Do people seriously believe that Jesus Christ would have wanted a flag flying to represent Christian beliefs?
I don't think Jesus would have had a strong opinion either way on the Christian flag. When asked questions about such things, Jesus would often point out that they were asking the wrong question.
