You are harming both the American and the Russian people.
Congress is doing its job representing the views of the American people. They were supportive of the Russian federation from the beginning, but that support dropped each time Putin decided to invade a neighbor. Americans now see Putin's RF for what it is, a genocidal cancer.
If the Russian people want help, they should try helping themselves for once.

1. Russia gets kicked out of Human Rights Council.
2. Russia finally admits publicly that lots of their troops are getting killed in Ukraine. In a war of attrition, every dead Russian soldier is one step closer to Ukrainian victory.
Russia has admitted suffering "significant losses of troops" in Ukraine, as the invasion enters its 44th day. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told British channel Sky News the casualties were "a huge tragedy for us".
3. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin says that sanctions are making life in Russia even more miserable than usual.
"No doubt, the current situation could be called the most difficult in three decades for Russia," he said. "Such sanctions were not used even in the darkest times of the Cold War."
Sorry carmine, you can't spin the Kremlin's own words as Western propaganda. And remember, things are probably much worse for Russia than the Kremlin is willing to admit.

I was shocked to see Peskov finally admit the obvious. I watched that POS a couple of weeks ago saying the Ukrainians were blowing up all of their own homes, hospitals, etc, themselves.
Do Americans view Russia as the aggressor due to propaganda? No.
Do Americans view Russia as the aggressor due to them invading another country? Yes.
Do Americans dislike Russia because Putin looks like a sad little troll? Absolutely.
So simplistic and misinformed.
Did the US aid in the violent overthrow of the elected govt of the Ukraine in 2014?
Has Ukraine been bombing the people of Donbas and Donetsk since then?
Does NATO/USA have hundreds of military bases circling Russia while Russia has none next to USA?
Has NATO not been expanded since the USSR fell despite promises to do no such thing.
Stop being a child. Time to grow up
Both sides play in the game of politics and other governments, however, only one decided to invade the country.
Both sides have been bombing in the Donbas region. The irony here now, is that the people supposedly being liberated by the Russians, have ended up hating them, now their land is being destroyed by the conflict because of Russia.
You seem to be under the illusion that Nato is the US. This war is primarily about Europe.
Nato did not promise not to expand.
However, Russia did make an agreement not to invade Ukraine on the basis of them not having nuclear weapons. We can see how well that agreement worked out for them.

Only one decided to invade another nation?
The USA did not invade Afghanistan? Iraq? Libya? Syria?
Israel did not invade Lebanona? Syria?
NATO is USA funded and controlled.
The promise to not expand NATO was made in 1990. It should have been disbanded at that time when the Warsaw Pact was ended,
Why has NATO been in Afghanistan? Pakistan? Somalia? Yemen? Libya?
I know you are. That's why I'm trying so hard to inform you.
Did the US aid in the violent overthrow of the elected govt of the Ukraine in 2014?
No. And I say this as someone that has family that lives in Kyiv that participated in Maidan and supported the overthrow of Yanukovych. In addition, when I visited Kyiv in November, 2014 - on the 1 year anniversary of the start of Maidan, there were Ukrainian flags EVERYWHERE and NO RUSSIAN flags, which tells me that people were pretty happy to not be a Russian puppet state.
Has Ukraine been bombing the people of Donbas and Donetsk since then?
Yes. After Russia illegally annexed Crimea, they began supporting separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk. We all know that Ukraine has been fighting these seperatists for the last 8 years. Sometimes, Ukraine even uses bombs to fight these Russian-supported separatists. Maybe it's because these Russian-supported separatists shot down a civilian airliner that so many people hate Russia. That's not due to propaganda. That's due to Russia siding with people that do terrible things. Or, was that just an elaborate CIA ruse?
Does NATO/USA have hundreds of military bases circling Russia while Russia has none next to USA?
Perhaps NATO/USA needs those bases because otherwise Russia has a habit of invading countries it doesn't like (see, for example, Ukraine). Guess what? Russia is about to get more NATO bases on their borders, as Finland is now looking to join NATO. Furthermore, doesn't Russia have a bunch of military bases next to NATO countries?
Has NATO not been expanded since the USSR fell despite promises to do no such thing.
NATO can't help it if countries want to join. Maybe if Russia wasn't run by a psychopath determined to recreate the Soviet Empire, counties wouldn't be so eager to join NATO. Or, maybe it's that the world has changed over the last 30 years. One thing that hasn't changed: Russia was insignificant in 1999 when Putin came to power, and it's still insignificant now.
But, none of this has anything to do with propaganda, which was the topic of the post I was responding to. So, why did you bring it up?
Would America like Canada and Mexico maintain dozens of Bioweapons labs on behalf of Russia?
I wondered when we would get back to conspiracy theories about bioweapons labs. Notice that all the Kremlin muppets shut up about bioweapons labs in Ukraine when they couldn't produce any evidence? Maybe you didn't get the memo.
So, in other words, they can't afford to get you a few lessons. Sad.
But perhaps you should consider yourself one of the lucky ones. At least they did not stuff you into one of those tanks. Congrats on that.
You are ridiculous. I do not need Russian tanks, Javelins, or English lessons to smash You. I do not even have to respond ad you are selfdestrcting with each word you write. I write to you out of courtesy, in hope you will come to senses.

Are those located in the North Atlantic?
NATO is muscle for the US Empire
Great. We've established the USA isn't perfect. I guess that makes it okay for Russia to invade Ukraine.
I do not support US soldiers or any nation that commits war crimes. If the US has ordered the targeting of civilians I would be the first to support the most extreme punishment for all involved.
That being said, this is the thread about Ukraine / Russia. Right?
The parallel arguments you guys are posting belong in a different thread.
A metaphor for your argument:
- There are two towns in the same state. taxpayers contribute money directly to their own schools but also to the state who finds a percentage of both districts. So, in this way they are related.
- A middle school teacher has been charged with abuse. The teacher has not been brought to justice for the offenses yet.
- At the high school in a different town but in the same state teachers should be allowed to abuse students for the reason that it was allowed at the middle school in the neighboring town.
I thought we were analyzing the military conflict hour by hour, day by day? Body counts, mechanized vehicles destroyed, fleeing Ukrainians, etc. I guess pages of posts regarding a meaningless Congressional vote helps you take your mind off Ukraine's future defeat. In reference to votes by the Upper Chamber: Think about how many Ukrainians U.S. politicians got killed by extending the suffering of Ukrainian citizens. Conservatively, 1500 more Ukrainians have died due to U.S. politicians extend the suffering over the past 5 weeks.
