Fortunately, USADA has provided much information on Salazar's training methods.

I'm curious what is your philosophy with regards to interruptions in training due to cough, flue, and the like. I suppose this is mainly question about mental things. Consider the typical hacking cough many get once a year. Should one run through it (with the risk of getting something worse) or is it better to rest, to maintain the global continuity of the training?
Not saying I agree with everything he says, or even most of it. But, am i the only person who thinks Calculo might be a genius?
Does anyone know who he is IRL?
He is not a genius (obviously), but sometimes he offers interesting analyses of athletes. Sometimes he is off shell with his
assumptions and that irritates people. His foul language also pisses off people. I think he is an MD in real life (IRL).
A shame if he would be banned from LRC.
well for me i would be ecstatic if he was banned for life. people who never ran shouldnt be able to post on this site, or if your not a coach.
vent is neither, but super annoying
Great prediction, knowing the result from Fukuoka Marathon!
Also, thanks for sharing the key training sessions before the Valencia half marathon, and for giving us all som input on your training philosophy!

This is the real limit : not doping or something else, but the real MOTIVATION fore training at the higher level, making normal a situation that, for the great majority of people, is a situation of uncomfortableness that kills their interest in our discipline.
