You don't realise it but you are still doing exactly what I have said you do, which is justifying yourself. You try to do that because your arguments are empty cr*p.
Ego. What a creative imagination you have. As you tend to not read posts with too many words, I guess I have to dumb it down for the 8 year old brain:
- There is only one poster here with established experience creating elite performance
- I don't mind who, if anyone, reads my posts, or believes them, or are convinced, or not
- Likewise, I don't value posts or publications, whether anonymous or credentialed, unless they can back it up with real data

Still too many words?
You are doing what I always say -- when you've run out of crap arguments, you -- ooh look squirrel -- try to make it about me.
You expressed Muir might be clean and that anybody reaching a final is a doper. Without a last rest of some doubt, you are the most stupid and ignorant poster on this board.
Just let your eyes and your brain do the work. Look at the times. Compare the body types between say the 70's amd 80's to now. Look at the doubles people are doing. Look at the sheer volume of incredible times, sometimes from people with very little elite background. Look how many are getting caught. No one is clean, it's just matter of the level of dirtiness.

Muir refused to stand next to/talk to Genzebe Dibaba because she suspected she was juiced to the gills and even said so to the media. She hugs Kipyegon all the time and did a victory lap with her after their Olympic gold and silver. So, going by the evidence of the Muir test, Kipyegon is clean.
I agree.the doping is far worse and more widespread now than it was then.athletes are much more muscled.back in the 70s and 80s most athletes still looked human, apart from some obvious dopers.now everyone looks like cyborg freaks straight off a mad scientist production line, bred in a lab.
Ask yourself, what male 3:49 1500 runner couldn't run at the very least 1:56 (most much faster)? I can't think of a single one. Obviously male -> female isn't a good comparison, but its not unreasonable to think she would be elite in the 800 especially if she trained for it.
"Accused of doping by Emma Coburn" sounds like grounds to convict! Just kidding. It's idiotic. Yeah, some athletes are doping, probably a lot of em, but y'all are like contamination obsessives.

No one is clean coevett?
In the Top 5?
Top 10
Top 20?
Topo 50?
Top 100?
Anyone who can make a living by competing in a sport is doping.
Most elites are doing something. I remember in 77 there were only 4 Americans sub 4. Last year over 60. It's not from better work ethic I can tell you that. Historically the 1500 has been the most doped event, probably because there are so many options for cheating. Some dude just ran 3:33 for 1500m did 4:24 in 2020 and 4:21 in 2021. in 2022 he runs sub 4. So only 3 second improvement (sounds right) in 2021, but then a jump of over 20 seconds the next year. warning signs.
Alan, you are absoutely right. There certainly are levels of stretching the rules though. Lance Armstrong ultilized everything under the sun. Some may just use prescription drugs and claim they used it for a condition if they get caught. and other use steroids mythotically in tiny quantities so they'll never set off a test. Anyways, no one will ever admit it because you'll be blasted for admitting it. I would love to see an monetary incentive program for retired athletes to get them to admit and provide proof. No penalties.
Faith Kipyegon just outkicked Genzebe Dibaba to win the Women's 1500. Here's why I think she's dirty:
1. She ran a 1:57 final 800 meters. That's absurd.
2. She out kicked a runner who's under a HUGE cloud of suspicion; in fact, she totally destroyed her. If you're that much better than a likely druggie - how in hell did you get there?
3. Kipyegon's coach (Bram Som of the Netherlands) also coaches Abeba Aregawi who was busted for Meldonium use. I think there's 0% chance that Aregawi's use was not known by Som, and likely that she's on a whole stew of PEDs - just got busted for that one. One dirty athlete under a coach makes the others very suspect.
4. There's horribly ineffective drug testing in Kenya - we are hearing more and more about how prevalent and common PED usage is among top athletes there. After a performance like this, there's no reason to assume she's simply "more talented".
It sucks to watch a championship race and immediately think "that's BS", but that's exactly what I felt after that performance.
Nobody on this thread, or any of the hundreds of others on the same topic, is changing anybody's mind, so please, just give it a rest. Watch the great performances and enjoy or not enjoy because you feel they are chemically enhanced, but aren't you tired of the endless fighting? “Tired of this” is 100% on point.

Last year here is what Muir had to say about Faith: "An amazing athlete and it's an honour to run alongside of her even though she's very, very fast".
That doesn't sound like something an athlete would say about a rival they thought had cheated them out of a podium spot.
Does Muir really know for sure if Kipyegon is clean? No, but I think she has a much better idea of which of her competitors are doping than those of us sitting at home in front of our keyboards.
Just days before the World Athletics Championships, new claims of widespread doping in Kenya have emerged. A report from Germany's ZDF alleges top athletes regularly use the endurance-boosting substance EPO in training.
No way Muir is clean. She ran sub 3:55 which is a clear indication that she's on drugs. At least according to some posters anyway.
If Muir isn't clean no way is Norris-Andrews. Sorry but her so called breakthrough with crazy drops in times is beyond sus. Same with some of her teammates.
