Only idiots think they can know good and efficient form just by sight.
You´re the idiot here. If someone runs like they have rubber boots on their feet you can clearly tell it´s not an efficient way to run a race, but I guess you will say that you can´t tell if Geb´s or Kipketers form was efficient either. Jeez, some people are really retarded.

3:36 for Manzano. That's a SB. Does that get him into Worlds?
Manzano is IN to Worlds. By .04.
Leo cutting it a wee bit close... On to Rio for Leo el Leon.

The difference is that Dibaba has one of the best running forms in history, while the Chinese runners ran like tractors.
That's the LEAST of the differences. More important differences:
1) ETH has has dominant distance runners on the men's and women's sides for decades. Chinese?? One amazing quick flurry of women runners (mostly on home soil), none on the men's side
2) Chinese women swimmers busted in huge doping scandal around the same time. Nothing like that in ETH
3) history of regimented doping in communist dictatorships, like China. ETH not like this.
The women's 1500/mile times have been soft for years (other than some likely doped Chinese and Russian). It's about time we have a great time from the women.

Personally, that's why I got totally away from having anything to do with any kind of distance. The 30 Kenyans testing positive in the last 2 years, the Russians, Turks, NOP...I can't believe any of it as being clean. Take this result and apply the Lance test. One Salazar doper's AR replaced by another Salazar doper. And do it goes. I'm totally disgusted, and today is one more reason to be totally disgusted.
When Salazar made that statement about it not being possible to place in the world top 5 without being on drugs.....well, he was telling the truth.
Distance runners are every bit as clean as Tour De France.
Good lord.
We've been hearing for DECADES that the Chinese records are fraudulent, dirty, outrageous, never to be broken by a clean woman......
And now folks are assuming this Dibaba lady isn't just as loaded up? Are you people brain damaged?
Watching a dirty 3:50 replaced by another dirty 3:50 is nothing to cheer about.

Shannon Rowbury american record?????
Makes me physically ill.
Rowbury letting the juice show a bit too early. She probably thought the time would be slower because Dibaba was so far ahead, thought she was running like 3:59. Oops.

Really, why did none of them test positive then?

Nothing like a 390m track to make for a good meet!
Prove it.
Because it was the 1990s and drug testing hadn't caught up to drug advancements yet
What was that 9.78 into a -0.3 worth with a +2.0??????
Has to be close to 9.65
womens 1500 - 100% positive they started from the right line?

Sure, only American times are legit ... LOL

Someone go back and watch the 800. Try to time it for me please.
Here are the spltis I got for Tuka.
So 51.2 for 400. THen I have a 26.3, 25.0.
Guy might have broken 25 for his last 200. Sick.
Someone please rewind it and confirm those splits. THey are absurd.
He was 3rd to last at 400. Was 6th at 200.
But wait, I thought that the ONLY way to run the 800 was with a substantial positive split. Like it was some sort of magical distance where an even pace or negative splits were SO detrimental.
LOL
I believe so, that start looked strange to me too but they started from the correct line

+1
Coburn seems disengaged in the steeple.
Right from the start, she didn't look right. They zoomed in and she just let a couple people move ahead of her
Maybe feels bad for teammate Jenny losing AR??
