at their drinking skills?
I know the Hobart kids hardly have a program, but are they actually dedicated and trying their hardest? If so, I wish them the best of luck and give them my sympathy of not having a real program, if not, then they can keep doing what they do.
Oswego Top 10
last year
1. Erik Donohoe (SLU) 2
2. John Gaudette (SLU) 5
3. Mike McGrath (Gen) 4
4. Jesse Berube (Gen) fr
5. Fontana Fluke (Alfred) 62
6. Jon Gauthier (Gen) 68
7. Nate Lockett (Gen) -
8. Weston Fellows (oswego) 8
9. Ryan Mulcahy (gen) -
10. Will Haskell (Gen) 13
Teams- 1. Geneseo 2. Slu 3.ithaca
There is my prediction. I'm not sure of many freshman besides the geneseo guys who already ran. I am sure SLU will have a freshman or two up in their top 7 like usual and they could break into the top 10 and change things up.
sorry that didn't post like i had planned. The numbers at the end of the names is the place they finished last year at oswego if they ran. The numbers on the right are obviously the places i think they will finish this year.

That is nice of you to put our a prediction for an early season race. It may not be the same way in November, but I doubt that SLU will have 2 in front of Geneseo's #1.
Also, did anyone notice from the entries that Potsdam has 22 guys running? That's more than most of the other teams. Are any of those guys good? I suppose we'll find out tomorrow.
Potsdam scratched their entire team (M&W) yesterday....
I'm pulling for Keuka to pull the upset with Hobart a close 2nd.
yo f*** that shit
You guys are ridiculous…the guys on those teams work hard are run for the pure sake of enjoyment and competition.
Anyway, does anyone know if any of the teams are running full squads at the Rochester meet? It would be interesting to see how RIT, Rochester and Fredonia are looking.

Well it is after labor day, good possibility there could of been an ice storm in Potsdam and they couldn't get out. It gets damn cold up there.
NYU is gonna shit on niggas all day.
Well, I can't speak for UR or Fredonia, but RIT is running a full squad tomorrow. Should be fun.
NYU is going to be ranked number 1 or 2 all year and then get beat at regionals again. The new system for getting into nationals may save them but they don't deserve to be saved if they place outside the top 2 again. Granted they would have had a lot higher team finish than Geneseo at nationals last year. My hats off to Geneseo for their run at Regionals, but man they blew it at nats.
And st lawrence is as far up north as potsdam and no ice storm is stopping them.
weather at oswego has caused the race to be delayed 1 hour, and the course is nasty....and we are at a kiosk in the stuedent union.

Welcome to Oswego, NY. Consistently the sh*ttiest track/x-c weather I ever encountered--and this comes from someone who spent many a day (in outdoor track) getting snowed on in Cortland.
anyone still think the course last weekend was short?

6 guys finish 2nd thru 7th with a 13 second spread... that's absolutely disgusting
also funny how cortland takes their 'b' squad and winds up in 3rd
Thats why this is the first time in 8 years that it's rained at the Oswego XC Invitational (rollseyes)
Yes the weather in Oswego can be brutal..However, it hasnt been bad for the XC race until today and Oswego hosting a track meet??? They dont even have a track so that would be a little tough.
Check your facts buddy.
Another very impressive run by Geneseo today and it looks like Coach Woods has assembled quite the team to try and bring the boys up to national prominence like he has with the girls.
Ithaca looked like they might be running a tempo run but still a surprise to see Oswego beat them today.
St. Lawrence made an impressive showing for their first meet of the year and their new freshmen look to be everything they were hyped to be and more. The Saints are assembling what could be another dynasty to get them back up to the best of the best in the region.
