I hope you are right but I doubt it. A month won't do too much though.
There are recent photos of Henes, Steelman, Hiltz, etc. training in Flagstaff, but haven’t seen any of Tuohy there.
Without at least the USATF qualifier, even if she were to surprise and finish top three at the Trials, she would probably be left off the team, no?
Maybe yeah. It is possible.
Its a weird year because only Andrews and Henes have the standard and they may not be healthy. That may change after track fest and pre. Some have the ranking. Tuohy, Morgan, Schwiezer have neither.
I personally don't think she will run. I think NCAA Cross may have been her last race. Didn't someone say she bought a house in Raleigh? I expect she will be named an assistant coach at NC State soon and they will use her name for recruiting purposes. I will be surprised if she runs again; I will be stunned if she continues after the Trials.

Cranny, Rogers, Kelati, Delay, Infeld, Bulchaski, Nichols are in the “World Rankings quota”, in that order, with Nichols at 65th - 1137p. So I think if anyone of those placed top 3 at the Trials, they would be on the Team.
I think Kelati would have the best chance of making both the 5/10 Teams.

With ESP’s fast Indoor 3k’s, I guess she too would be on the 5000m team if she makes top 3 at the Trials, even if she weren’t to run another race before the Trials.

Yeah if they count 3k towards rankings for the road to paris 5k... they do that for regular event ranking but I am not sure how that works for the Olympics.

I’m not an expert on the matter, but they, for example, include Infeld’s 2mile Millrose result in her Ranking average, and a 3000m race in Delay’s.
When Tuohy turned Pro, she said she was interested in doing some shorter races. With Ray Flynn, her agent and also the Director of Millrose, I suspected Tuohy would be running Millrose for sure in prep for the Trials.

She would need top 3 at trials, plus either standard, or world ranking points.
15:05 or so at trials would likely get her the ranking, or she would have to chase it in another race.
A 15:05 at the Trials would be only one race in the Ranking, no? Just looking at WA Road to Paris, I think she has to get another race before the Trials. I’ve reconsidered, and now think ESP needs to do the same. (But I could be wrong.)

in the interview I heard Tuohy said she was gonna crash with Elly Henes and train with those three, plus Rachel Smith, in Flag (after all, they're Mike Smith Elite)
I know absolutely nothing about altitude training but would think if she's serious about the Trials she'd be going there. Guess we'll find out soon.
Thought she had one race in the window already (Usatf '23?), but either way 2 times are necessary. Qualifying window closes 6/30.
And that was worth 1164. I think you’re correct, Tuohy could just show up at the Trials without any prior races until then, and if she makes top 3, in a ~15:05-ish race, she’d make the Team!

There were recent photos on Insta with Henes, Steelman, Hiltz, and Gee running reps on a track in Flagg; no Tuohy in them.

Was that a recent interview, or was that back soon after she turned Pro (before the injury news)?

You raise a good point about altitude training, in that someone without much experience training at altitude might face a setback if they tried to rush into it.

it was the Citius Mag podcast she did after she turned pro. this was done back in December so perhaps her schedule has changed due to her injury.
