Highly doubtful. The issue for Katelyn is will she do the things pro runners are willing to do. This is a dirty sport, and natural talent means little against peds. How many US women are magically pring in their mid to late 20s? That suggests a standard pro trajectory, with pro "training" beginning postcollege. Now that can be jump started earlier if you are brazen enough, as I think we are seeing. She just has to be patient.
Nothing against Tuohy, it seems that a sub 15 will not easily happen for her. Her form is getting worse, cannot kick at the end when running a faster pace. Looking at her past 5000m races, she has only ran 15:10s for three outings.
Let's consider some actually facts here instead of troll logic. Valby just now gained notoriety for being the first college woman to break 15 minutes in the 5000m. That means that every single US pro distance runner we have ever had that has gone through the NCAA was not running under 15 minutes in college. Not Ellie St. Pierre. Not Elise Cranny. Not Karissa Schweizer. Not Alicia Monson. Not Ellie Henes. In fact, Tuohy broke Hene's record while at NC State. All of these women run under 15 minutes now after some training as a pro. There is no reason whatsoever to assume that Tuohy won't also be under 15 minutes after training and experience as a pro. She really just got started. Why even post something like this? Do you just get off on putting out doomsday prdictions that have no basis in fact to rain on someone's parade? It would be one thing if you had anything to back up your claim, but it is just bullcrap. Og course she will run under 15 minutes. All of the dtat from previous women distance runners points to it. Women that Tuohy beat in college have done it. She will too!
Who's to say she won't. I bet after some training as a pro she runs a good bit faster than 14:51, just like I think Tuohy will run a good bit faster than 15:03.
Seems more and more accurate with every passing day
Or a more fun prediction... In the 2028 Olympic Trials Valby and Tuohy will be the seasoned pros in the 5000m. They will use the current college phenom as their rabbit until they decide to make their big moves and then sprint to the finish to place 1&2 by fractions of a second.

That 15:03 she ran is likely the closest she will ever get to sub-15.
By posting something like this, it just shows that you're a truly sad person who needs to work on their envy problems. Do you enjoy pulling wings off flies too? What pleasure does it give you to revel in the pain of others - is your schadenfreude that rewarding to you?
With the Olympic Trials complete, it’s time to release KT's Clusters and discuss what lead to this collaboration. Katelyn Tuohy is a name that has become synonymous with running, but one I wasn’t aware of until she contacted...
