Adult in the room it seems like you are awfully mad a democrats for not creating the specific version of reality you would prefer. Unfortunately; self identifying as a republican/libertarian on a message board will not fix those issues for you. Progress is coming whether you like it or not.
Every time you idiots lose an argument you run right back to insults.
It's hilarious.
That’s not an insult. Just saying you sound like my 64 year old boomer dad.
His main policies are: I hate hispanics, I hate teachers, I hate homosexuals. That's just idiotic political positioning.
If DeSantis hates "hispanics" then that group still voted for him by 15% over Crist.
Both of those things are true.
Biden received 65% of the Hispanic vote while Trump only earned 32%. I expect that will stay the same. Again, it would seem the main reason for nominating DeSantis would be to win Florida, but 2020 showed that you can win Florida and still get walloped in the electoral college.
It may be trending in the third party direction if Fox and Murdoch's other media outlets turn on him. If he goes third party, the GOP will implode and the Democrats will be overconfident and renominate geriatric Biden, exciting exactly nobody, and at that point, who knows what happens. Thankfully, the system is rigged for two parties and a majority would be reached in the Electoral College. But, imagine if it wasn't. The puss wart that is Trump and his followers will make history.
Why are you against the nomination of a womxn to the Supreme Court? It’s a win for gender equity
Democrats don't give a damn about diversity of any kind. You either participate in the hive mind or you're out.
Clarence Thomas isn't really black.
Marco Rubio isn't really latino.
You can't be a real woman unless you support late term abortion.
And on and on and on.
It's disgusting.
Well yeah that stuff is all BS. It’s like hiring a black guy to be the head of Raytheon. Dude we aren’t all bleeding heart liberals. Some of us are just slightly to the left on some basic policy. I’ve voted all over the political spectrum. Trolling right wingers is just something I do for fun.
what % of republican are hard core Trump supporters?

this is why he will win...you don't have to even have a majority when the field is 3-5 deep. They started with 16 candidates but that quickly widdeled down to 5 three weeks in...having only 3 real contenders (Trump, Cruz, Rubio) for 47 of the 50 state contests. The only way he loses if 1 and only 1 major candidate emerges early on, or if that candidate is able to do what he does and that is get about 30% of the party behind him with no chance of voting for anyone else. It could happen, but must happen early...like right out of the gate to squeeze everyone else out of the field and make it a two person race...anything else and Trump wins.
Fourteen of them vacant during a Presidential election year. 2016 was the first time the Senate majority leader just refused to hold a hearing.
McConnell: “All we are doing is following the long-standing tradition of not fulfilling a nomination in the middle of a presidential year.”
Look at your list. What McConnell said wasn't true. The last time the Senate was led by a different party than the President and a Supreme Court vacancy opened up, the Senate confirmed the nominee. It's a precedence of one instance, but that was the most recent precedence before McConnell refused to hold a hearing.
But not of that matters to you. Winning is the only thing that matters and you project that trait on your enemies. The only right and wrong is "us and them." All else is expendable.
And you needed help.
"N" on the last means the president appointed a SCOTUS nominee and NO ACTION was taken by the senate.
Your "one instance" is the one time out of 10.
You're ignoring the rule because you wanted the exception because you like the politics in that case.
Stop being dishonest.
I'm not even a Republican....
You’re delusional.
How many of those “NO ACTION” nominees were put forth in a US Presidential election year? NONE.
McConnell said that there’s precedence for not holding hearings on a Supreme Court nominee during a Presidential election year. That was a lie.
Then McConnell said that the precedence was to not hold hearings on a Supreme Court nominee when the Senate and White House are held by different parties. That is also a lie.
The last time it happened before 2016 was in 1888 and the nominee was confirmed.
As usual, these threads devolve to the same as ever rants from the same as ever deranged poster against everyone else. Without this forum he would be a lonely voice, talking to himself, in a basement somewhere.
