ESPN2 has shown the 2 wheelchair racers for like 45 minutes.
That’s fine because it is actually a race. And they are finishing well before the runners hit half way.
they are showing reporters instead of racing. i don't need to see people standing around. show me the people running.

Seth DeMoor Update:
First 5K in 16:45. It looks like he started conservatively.
10k in 33:09 (2:19:50 Estimated Finish). He is running with "Jordan" (the guy he ran with for a lot of the race in 2019).
15K in 49:46 (2:19:58 Estimated Finish).
I had no idea who Annie Frisbie is, I had to google her. This is an absolute failure of ESPN, this coverage is garbage as usual. Go Annie.
If you're from the South would you be offended by the British announcer saying something about a 'Cracker' of a race?

Not really a race. Not sure how many wheelchair racers there are - 5? The winning male was wayyyy out in front as was the woman winner.
Even with super shoes if Frisbie keeps this up, this is unreal.
Bekele just needs to sit on the front group up through mile 20. I still think Bekele could turn the screws in the final 5 and pull away from the less experienced.
Kara would be better than Kip.
These Adidas kits look like they were designed for "exotic" dancers, not runners.

I just don't get what they are talking about . Have they mentiond Laura Thweatt's name at all?
I would like to hear about who is in the lead pack. How amazing this is by Frisbie? Mile splits. INstead we get a bunch of nonsense.
And what is that ESPN graphic at the top. Noo one cares. Give us the mile by mile splits not the last names of the top 15?
El Aaraby finishes 11th. See why here:
shalane 15k 2:34:37 pace

Can someone on the thread quickly explain who they are?
Maybe as a lead commentator you shouldn’t recount the time you were told “You’re all Kenyans to us”?

Anyone notice how most of the runners in teh NYC marathon promo on ESPN were black. I'm all for making m inorities feel welcome in the world but it's getting kind of funny. What percent of the runners are black?
I'll guess 83.333% of the Men's & Women's podium is black. What do you think? More? Less?
The leaders are mostly black. Yes, long distance running is dominated by blacks. So it makes sense.
Does not wanting my kids to watch a bisexual threesome at the Olympics make me a bigot?
