Not quite - Gwen Jorgensen has commented on other posts (like Shayla Houlihan's posts) clearly in support.
eh, that heart emoji on houlihan's post is about as clear as chelimo's tweet -- gotta protect her brand! ("brand"?)

Nobody is saying she's not entitled to an appeal. They're saying she's not entitled to compete while appealing. Because that's what the freaking rules say.

Unless I missed something she already lost the CAS appeal. Is there another appeal that is still pending or in process?
Yes, a lawsuit in Swiss Court is her last chance. Nice of the USATF to be so cognizant of the broad jurisdiction of Swiss Court.
That is her last chance but has an appeal actually been filed or is it in process? They may intend to pursue that option but that doesn't make it currently active. And why would the Swiss Court even want to hear Shelby's case? It seems like a run of the mill banned substance violation.
The Johnson's and gault have been awfully quiet this morning...

Since Houlihan's positive drug test was only announced a few days ago, a lot of people seem to think that it's very early in the process. It's not. The "due process" has been happening already in the legal system for 6 months, it's just that no one knew about it.
And for track and field, the CAS in Switzerland is the highest court in the world, and they've made their final decision. So I'm not sure what additional "process" people expect is still supposed to happen.

Emma liked Sinclair Johnson's post. Pretty disappointed in the hypocrisy on her end given her recently fairly crude post about Jebet.
Woody Kincaid with a master class in shaming the public for their 'lack of belief' and 'cynicism'.
He's 'not naive enough to think' the public would understand the case or the doping regime they are under, no no, the fault is in the stars of the public, not with the athletes. The athletes are out there sacrificing everything for an unappreciative public.
I think most of the running community has a pretty simple principle: trust, but verify.

A few days ago, the radio silence from athletes outside BTC about Shelby was deafening and I thought it meant something different than what it does.
Now Emma, Colleen, Kate Grace, and Alexi Pappas at least have come out in support of Shelby. It's hard to understand given the flimsy defense she has, and the facts of the case which absolutely are set against her.
"I know her" seems to be the main reasoning from Jon Gault to Shalane to Kate. But that seems so weak.
It has me thinking about Ruth Jebet. I have always thought that the reasons Ruth has been treated differently was because she tested positive for EPO, which you can't fake, and had suspicions around her. That enabled the distance running world to dance on her grave as it was definitive. But thinking about Emma's post "cheater cheater pumpkin eater" now, it's like...
Really Emma? You have empathy for Shelby, a white American girl because you "know her" but Ruth--a teenage athlete who was clearly exploited and a lot less advantaged than you tests positive and you rub it in her face. Your bronze will always shine brighter than her gold? You have no idea what she's been through, what about sympathy and understanding there?
woah woah emma and colleen have not said a SINGLE thing or even liked anything on twitter don’t twist them up in this
Well, the smart thing is to wait until CAS releases the actual decision.

I think they're gradually realizing how ridiculous Shelby's excuse is the more they dig into it and ask around.
Unable to link at the moments but Vanessa Fraser's Insta post from 3 days ago, doesn't take much to do a simple search through the likes button.

This whole situation is weird. Yeah I'm pissed about the Jebet post. She deserved more empathy than what she got. An exploited teenager by Bahrain. "my bronze will shine brighter than her gold" wow, Emma. your whole life will shine brighter than hers always because you are a privileged American kid who's never been exploited and used by your country.

Right? Shouldn't Gault have out an article today about how this is one of the greatest days in American T&F history?
Man, I remember a simpler time, when we were all jazzed up because Drew Hunter ghosted his coach and we didn't know what the t-shirts would say anymore!

This. BTC have been effectively spinning the view that we are at the beginning, not the end. Everywhere you go, people are saying, "this needs to be investigated more thoroughly!" when it already was investigated for 6 months and concluded with a guilty verdict.
Yes i see now it wasn’t showing up before thank you!!
I was on the fence and waiting for the CAS full decision to make up my mind on her guilt/innocence but this whole running the trials anyways has me thinking that BTC has a 'rules don't apply to us' mentality. Makes me question the whole leadership of the club and everyone involved with it. If you're willing to show such disrespect to the sport by condoning and participating when banned, then I'm not sure doping is that big a leap.
