Girls results from the last 3 years (trying to speed rate without the official speed ratings). Suffice to say, 2019 ran a similar speed to 2017. Tuohy ran 16:44 in 2017, 16:37 in 2018, and 17:18 this year. Hats off to her for this run, but she is headed in the wrong direction. This will probably only be speed rated slightly higher than 160. Sometimes stats don’t mean a darn thing. I was a spectator today and the conditions totally sucked. Of course that’s cross country but the speed rating is meaningless. Sometimes you just need to get the win, call it a day and get warm.
