1st post-ban NOP athlete absolutely lays a goose egg. Coincidence?
Yeah, because "Julian's" athletes are clean but Salazar's were doping. You are so dumb.

Yeah, USADA should have waited until after WCs to break the news. This was unfair to Murphy, Hassan, and Kejelcha.
Better to let them continue their doping without distubances first. Got it
Did you even read the report? They did not find any evidence of doping for NOP athletes after years of investigation.

That's his best strategy, he doesn't have the kick of those other guys. Let it go out in 54-55, he might have gotten last. 5th >> last.
Black page to come.
Breaks a 34 year old American record and wins the first world outdoor men's 800 title for an American in 47 years in the same race.

Brazier finished in 13.93.
No one is finishing fast here, and IMO the idea of a ‘kick’ is nonsense- just who slows the least.
When Murphy joined NOP, he got no better at the 1500 and worse at the 800. If Pete's training isn't much different than Alberto's he should go back to his college coach Lee Labadie .
OK, it's a white page these days.
But it was cooler when it was a black page.
CLAYTON MURPHY SHAT THE BED.
I thought black pages were only for WRs?

No one seems to be mentioning the Elephant in the room!
Salazar is Brazier's coach too!
Many on here are happy to be suspicious of Hasan's ridiculous 4:18 mile at the end of her 10k victory, largely based on the fact she is coached by Salazar and the NOP, but if a US athlete with the same back up wins, there is no mention of it!
I thought Brazier ran brilliantly, but it would be nice to see some consistency when raising suspicions. Personally I'm suspicious of all NOP athletes, especially Mo Farah (and have been for years); they all knew about the accusations and had their eyes wide open when joining that outfit.
Wrong. It is well known that Julian coaches Donnie.
This is impressive and all, but a healthy Rudisha is going to smash him in Tokyo.
Oh well, no sweep for USA as many americans were predicting..??. Congrats to Ferguson!!!

Shame his coach was banned for four years today for doping his athletes.
Brazier is coached by Pete Julian.
You seriously think there are two entirely separate training groups inside NOP, with zero overlap of ideas, workouts, supplements, etc?
If that were the case, why would Julian and his athletes even be part of NOP? Why wouldn't the Gouchers, Ritz, etc have just worked only with Julian rather than leave?
If they were entirely separate groups, why arent any of Julian's athletes going onto twitter to attack Salazar? Pretty much every other distance runner in the world is.

Do you mean that in the way the Brits use the word "smash?"
Billy konchellah's record broken
So Vázquez ends his season as the third best 800m in the United States.
I’m really excited to see how he races next year. He’s shown he can hang with any of the top dogs and he’s still young.

Rudisha is an absolutely wonderful athlete, but it really seems like he's done as a world-beater.

The arbitrators, like most Americans, likely had no idea the world championships were even going on.

Can we just enjoy this remarkable accomplishment for a few moments?
And I think he will give a healthy Rudisha a run for the money now, that's clear.
What isn't clear is if Rudisha can get back into it with all his issues. I hope he can of course but it looks doubtful at this point.
