Kidder now in for Doha, we'll have 4. Dayum!!!

Rodal said about Brazier that he is a smart runner.
You need self-confidence stying behind on the first lap.
But the last 200 meters was $50 000
that was a crazy race
Amos set a new DL mark for The Rig.
Brazier FTW!!! Does this mean he just earned a spot for a 4th person from the USA to go to worlds?
Abda has gone too fast several times this month. Brazier won this one brilliantly, but Amos looks good for Doha after his injury.
DL winners auto into Worlds. Kidder now in.

Just to make sure I get this right. Brazier get an auto entry into the WC 800 by winning and that's why we get 4?
Splits are legendary. Meanwhile Brazier was unbelievably composed. He went from one of the worst racers on the circuit to a racer with elite self-awareness. Great job by Alberto.

hutchings and cram doing this on the NBC Gold feed makes me happy, 2 of the best out there.
That 800m was insanity, odd to see abda misjudge it by that much, he is usually pretty reliable. Would love to see the splits broken down by 200m intervals on that, because it has to be all over the damn map.
Brazier runs an epic last last. 30m down, and still run 124!!! Nuts. McBride with a great 3rd, and Murphy in 1:43 for 5th bodes well for world's and the rounds there.

wow. 250m to go he looked to have absolutely no chance. awesome
Amos was already slowing down by then, I had a feeling by 300m the leaders were going to hit the wall hard and Brazier was running the race he needed to (Murphy stayed back and moved up well also, but just doesn’t have the fitness now). 1:36 pace at the bell isn’t smart even for a 1:41.high guy, Amos probably could have won if he had a bit of common sense.
W Steeple on the line. Crazy fast pacing planned. Another stacked field.
Wow. I'm trying to watch both broadcasts and got behind on both and had an internet issue and then when it came back on I heard Steve Cram raving about how fast it was and how Amos was way out fast and all alone. Looked like 100 to go.
I then went to the other broadcast as I can rewind and started the race over without seeing the finish.
When they went through in 48 I thought "He holds on and gets the WR or this may not end well."
But then I saw Brazier and Murphy looking like they were so far out of it 200 in , I thought WTF?
And then Brazier timed it perfectly. Like a pro. I'm more impressed that he ran completely his own race. Ignored everyone else to win it.

that is going to be a forgotten piece I think. As bad as amos faded at the end, he is most definitely over whatever injury issue he had.

Yes, another 48.2 when the time was scheduled to be in the 49s. Abda and C Price for the women are getting known to always run faster as prescribed (Price will pace the women's 1500m race later).
However, today the conditions are actually perfect especially compared to last week's meet where they were quite bad. So going out a bit quicker can work in the favor of athletes trying to PR and organizers who want to see fast races/time so I'm not against it.
This steeple is out fast!!
Chepkoech right with the pacer, pushing her actually Coburn 2nd, running aggressively early. Sub 9?? Gets AR back from Freirechs? First K in 2.52. Chepkoech blows by pacer way early.
