Only other 46XY DSD internal testes persons should be aloud to rule on Semenya.
Niyonsaba and Wambui might use that opportunity to get rid of the competition.

They'll appeal and if Caster doesn't get back into this year's WC, she'll get into next year's Olympics for sure. This is the issue that won't die, it'll just go back and forth for many more years.

I would expect a Swiss court to be more enlightened. Sad day.
In other words : more liberal and politically correct while ignoring the basic biology behind the issue?
Liberalism is a mental disease.
Based upon previous comments on the message board, I don't believe that the court in this particular case is supposed to rule on the merits of the underlying issue being disputed, one way or the other. The job of the court is to pass judgement on the arbitration process itself -- to ensure that the arbitration process is fair, to ensure that that the arbitrators are ruling on the merits and not biased towards a specific side, etc. For example, if the arbitrators were being bribed by one side or the other, the court would set aside the arbitration ruling. I am not aware of any evidence indicating that the arbitration process was in some ways flawed, regardless of the decision. Thus the Swiss court was always likely to rule against Semenya in this case.
Perhaps some attorneys could confirm or dispute this.
Caster Semenya has XY chromosomes and is intersex.
There is no justification for her to compete with women in the future and she should not have been allowed to compete with them in the past.
The number of men who could run 1:55 with a few years of training is staggering. It's absurd she has become so famous.
This was progress against a sort of PC tyranny that would deny that there is an elephant in the room, even if everyone in the room must be robbed of intellectual freedom and integrity. I think Nick Symmonds explained and summarize this best on his YouTube channel, and did so in the most respectful and dignified manner.

When will progress be made?
Totally agree! With the exponential rise in leftist insanity, this is hard to believe.
Do leftist woman also hate women’s sport?
If they can figure out how to construct CERN on the border of Switzerland, I'm sure that at least some of the Swiss are capable of understanding what XY chromosomes and internal testes are, so it's really not that surprising.

Agreed. A pleasant surprise for a change.
I was at an all-comers track meet the other day and the people running the meet put an 8 year old boy in the 50m dash against my 6 year old daughter. What the f&@
I hope she will go to the european human rights court. I think they judges there have the right mindset as they are choosen by progressive europeans
Good news! A victory for women's track running.
Finally a real XX woman can have a chance at winning

None of the main-stream (MSM) news articles even perturb to mention Semenya has XY and DSD (internal testes), just that "she has naturally high testosterone". Almost like how they ignored underlying facts for Baylor/WNBA transgender star Griner.
From the NY Times article about the ruling:
“The I.A.A.F. said its rule applied to athletes who have an X and a Y chromosome, the standard male pattern, and therefore testosterone in the male range.”
thank you......its n o t f a i r.....to women who run , it is not fair to the women.....imagine training and racing from the age of 12 just to find out that a intersex athlete will beat you every time....and you will never get a medal....its just not fair and i dont understand in what world it is fair to women....

A tangent perhaps, but does anyone else get the feeling that Caster only trained a few times a week, about the level of a middle-schooler? Just seemed to coast along on a huge biochemical advantage.
Yup.

This makes me wonder if prominent TERFs are aware of Caster and whether they have informed opinions. ?
For the record, the races are better when she is there, and I wish that she gets to compete at the Tokyo Games.
IDK (I don't know): On one hand, I'm sad for Caster, if she was born with too much testosterone to be a female, but not enough to be a male. It's not her fault, and that is really tough. The courts are telling her that she is 'too close' to being male, and so she cannot compete with females. This has got to be really rough.
On the other hand, I'm happy for the millions of females born within 'normal' ranges of hormones to compete against each other, rather than compete against someone who is practically male.
In the not-so-distant-future we will probably see categories set by testosterone levels, rather than by gender.

Maybe some people think social justice is more important than running in circles
