Define skinny? Look at the Kenyans!

Breaking 1:40, spring/summer of 2020
Couple of thoughts from my mom’s basement eating mac n cheese with ketchup:
On the line he did have “hungry look”. He was looking around. Compare with Amos who looked like he came to win.
Too many runners in the race. Brazier had another guy in his lane.
Got out too slow. Other guy in his lane blocked his path.
Lots of traffic at the break and got stuck in the back.
Too slow opening lap- 51/52ish.
Great move with 250 to go. Made up a lot of ground, moving up well.
Got blocked with 150 to go, broke his momentum. Got stuck behind the winner.
Finished well and didn’t look tired after. Definitely more in the tank. Even paced, made 1:44 look easy.
Currently 1:42/1:41 shape under ideal conditions.

I just stopped right there. Heinz? Pump squeeze? Kraft?? A little extra butter?? Al dente noodles??? I'm guessing everyone has got that hungry look about now...

Commenting on the weight of a guy who is ~ 10 seconds fater than you at a distance under a mile is a zero sum game.
You don't know the meaning of the phrase "zero-sum game."
like for real. I swear some people just need to make comments about others. he looks great
Its the thyroid medication which allows these Oregon runners to get unrealistically skinny while still training super hard, sleeping in an altitude tent, and still recovering. Bowerman and OTC Elite are no exception.

I am not a fan of high mileage training, in general for 800m runners but for Brazier, most likely an increase in mileage will help him. He does not need to improve his 800m personal best to medal in World Championships and/or Olympics. Brazier needs to improve his recovery through the rounds. Many have said over the years that Brazier chokes. Not true. I can tell he has had dead legs. He'll medal at W.C. if he's running more miles.
How does running more miles relate to recovering better from multiple 800m races?

Hey, zero sum commenting commenter guy,
Commenting on comments about elite 800 guys is open game for comments.
Not a zero sum game at all.
The 800 exemplifies more variation of body types, weight, and heights than any other t&f event. You got skinnies, bulkies, tall dudes, short dudes, and even guy dudes running as lady dudes.
And while most will never scratch within 10 seconds of these guys, some of us can actually get within 6 seconds but this is LRC, home of much worse comments, so saying "Don is skinny now" is neither offensive nor innacurate.
Put you sensitive sensitivities aside now, oh sensitive one.
whoaaa found the sensitive one here^^

He also ran more than 800m, maybe 804m. He most likely hit 800m in 1:42.
Hope not - if it took him 2 seconds to cover 4 meters then he was running 13:20/mile pace.
Are skinny guys your type, jamin?
The real question is how fast will Emmanuel Korir run this year?

Who is Donovan Brazier?
He's the guy who got 3rd in this race with a 1:44.7 on dead legs.
He's been solid for a few years now, man.

Yeah, he looks exactly the same as he always has.
Does he even lift bro?
