Think I’ve pretty much nailed this one, except for I didn’t see Tefera sneaking by. Fair to wonder if Tefera will build off this outdoors and take on the likes of Manangoi and Timmy. He stunk last year outdoors. Kejelcha is a monster and that mile record is his if he goes after it. I think Tommy might run 3:27/3:45-6outdoors now if Alberto has Kejelcha lead out Monaco Oslo , or Pre

Think LRC said 10:33 AM ET. I think he will just miss here, but the mile one is a goner if he gets the BU ones he says he will. Should be around 3:31 high, though for an overall PB. Think the mile distance suits him better and he might get a tad overexcited here and drop a 58+ third 400 which will kill him even if he finishes strongly.
Tefera 100% on the juice he was breathing through his nose and literally began to jog 10 seconds after breaking the WR whilst most of the field were sat on the floor knackered, ridiculous

You are always complaining of exrunner stalking you when you are the actual stalker.

I was wrong the track is fast enough.
However I hope my point about why Farah didn’t go for records has become clear.
Kejelcha had very aggressive pacing here but it took him to 1k in 2:21. Tefera was pacing off him all the way to about 100m to go and just had the miler's kick that Kejelcha still doesn't have. 3:31.58 converts to 3:48.51, so his performance is actually slightly worse and he had pretty consistent pacing for an extra 350m, but then he had to travel across the ocean and time zone change east is particularly disruptive.
Tefera just made it look very, very easy pacing off of Kejelcha.
epic fail
Didn’t look too slow today! They were flying to a 1500m Indoor World Record

This is so embarrassing, especially coming off all that hype. Kejelcha keeps getting upstaged by younger talent from back home. Mr Salazar must be hoping mad. But exciting super talent, Tefera, at just 19. Us Kenyans will root for our Ethiopian brothers and neighbours over everyone else.

Yep, it is, they didn't go sub 3:30, so exrunner was right.

Ethiopia = the new Kenya.
Watched the Wanamaker mile last weekend and now this 1500 m. To your point; both were unbelievable. Both showed the winner not even breathing hard after they finished in near record time and in this case record time. Watch their chests, no material sign of breathing. It is not normal to run like that and show no sign of effort.
What in blazes are these guys taking?
You really think these two guys are 19 and 21 years old?
I don’t.
