Last Friday I did 6 x 10 second hill sprints because I was treating a race on Saturday as a workout and wanted to train through it. However, I ended up running a huge PR. I hadn't made the connection yet, but maybe the hills were a contributing factor rather than something holding me back?

"That was a good indication I might finish 25 laps. At the motel, I started imagining how I was going to finish this 10km. I couldn?t wait. I started feeling nervous. Sometimes they say it is a good sign of performing well, and it is true.
