They do sponsor an elite marathoner: Tyler Jermann.
They also (did?) sponsor Nich Arciniaga.
My kid runs in college that has UA deal. He really likes the racing spikes. Have not heard comments about training flats.

I wear them. I love the shoes as they are extremely comfortable.
Sadly, I run so little I've had two pairs last me at least two years. To be honest, my favorite thing about my UA shoes is they look incredible with my jeans. At this point, style is more important than performance.
I'm thinking of going to buy some more. I want to check out the local running store - let's hope they carry them.

Is it a Bawlmer thing?
I got recruited by a school that had UA as their gear sponsor, although as best I can remember I would not have needed to wear UA spikes had I gone there.
Most of the UW runners, including Hoare and McDonald wear Asics spikes. This might be a statement about Under Armour spikes since the Asics are long discontinued.

Asics still makes spikes and shows no sign of discontinuing doing so.
UA is aware that they are deficient in T&F. I'm not sure if this will change or if it even matters to them

I don't know why you noobs think just because a school is sponsored by Under Armour the athletes need to wear Under Armour shoes. You can wear whatever you want.
I suppose we noobs think that because we see entire football and basketball teams at sponsored schools in the gear of their sponsors and wonder if maybe there's a stipulation in athletes' scholarships at such schools requiring them to wear the sponsor's shoes.
I’ve recently trialled the Hovr Sonic after long term injury (previously tried Hoka, Nike and Adidas). They are fantastic!
Well cushioned with the Hovr technology and the knit footing is really comfortable. I think I could do 5-8 mile tempo runs in them and they’d also hold up to a long run of 90 mins without feeling sore or beat up afterward.
I wasn’t sure what they’d feel like and intended to rotate them with the Clifton’s so I wasn’t reliant on one or the other and to keep my foot constantly working / improving, at the moment I prefer the UA Sonic in terms of comfort, foot placement feeling and general pop if I feel like picking up runs to 6 min miling.
I believe Under Armour gave a bunch of money to the Trump campaign...
If you wear UA we'd love reviews in our Better Shoe Site. It's about to be relaunched. The most reviews of ANY Under Armour shoe is 1.
I got a free pair of the new HOVR shoes and have been running in them, but I can't formally review them in the site as I'd be biased. I like them, but I'm looking for a super responsive shoe right now.
If you'd like to review do so here:
Pretty great shoes actually. I worked at a running store in VA and a lot of people loved the Bandits or Gemini because it felt similar to a peg or vomero. The biggest difference is they feel a lot harder cushion wise in a weird way. I personally love the bandit and I normally run in the peg cause it’s just an all around great shoe.
Under Armour began to sponsor the high school that I coach at a couple years ago. They make our uniforms and give us discounted gear. The year that they started sponsoring us, our #1 girl was not very well off financially and although she would find a way, had a tough time buying training shoes and spikes. She had recently purchased a pair of training shoes, but needed a new pair of spikes and when she saw the discount, she bought the Under Armour mid-distance spikes. She loved them. That was her senior season, but she ran fast and stayed healthy. She said they were really comfortable as well.
Irish Marathon and 10k standout Stephen Scullion and USA miler Pat Casey are both UA sponsored and have put forth nice races in their product. The elite racing kit is sharp; far more appealing than every other shoe sponsored group with the exception of the Brooks Elite and Hanson's / Brooks racing gear.

Can you blame them? Lower taxes, economy is booming!
Under Armour makes decent clothing. It sounds stupid but I like the logo. I am hesitant to try their shoes for whatever reason.
I love my UA running thong
What do you wear over top of the shoes?

The guy who won the 1500 at ncaa's had nikes on. Under armour should have never gotten in the shoe business.
Hoare won NCAA's wearing Asics.
