In the 70s, anywhere from 100-130mpw. This was very typical for elites of that era.
You need to get a lanyard, carry some cash,
and a good water bottle, some electrolyte pills
and do a marathon on your own.
If you haven't done one before you graduate high school,
chances are you'll never experience the full dream of running.
