Women's results.
Roberta Groner 7th - she’s 40+. She has to be pleased with that.
Rochello Kanuho in 3rd for the women's race, had to look her up. Another NAZ Elite runner. Has a great story. Holy crap, if you some inspiration, read this:

her 53:13 in the 10 mile championship (done without training) converts to a 1:10:54...

I'd say 1:10:49 more precisely ;-)
Nice run despite falling 3 seconds shy of the win for Sara Hall

Is that good?
Given her 15:15 indoor in the 5000m, 31:52 in the 10000m, doesn't this show that she is better suited for the shorter distances?
Or it still shows that she hasn't quite worked the volume up to where it needs to be. Someone above said she's not even up to 100mpw yet.
My bad, not NAZ Elite anymore. So looks like Rochelle Kanuho ran a half marathon PR after being dropped by NAZ Elite and made some cash today. This is after a decent 5th place run and PR at the 15k Championships. So runs the best times of her life after losing sponsorship. Gawd, this sport is brutal.

Gwen's half gives her a B-standard OTQ (which of course she will improve with a full later)
meanwhile over on the full marathon, some OTQ "A standard" elites are being born
not exactly an easy course or weather for an OTQ either
two women under 2:35

Half marathon standard does not open until Sept 1, 2018. But I'm sure she can get it with either a marathon or half marathon in the fall. If I were her, I would just run a marathon in the fall to get a better feel for the event, regardless of whether she is in top shape.
Too early to say much but my hunch is that she is more of a 5K-10K Runner.

Men's results. Could Chris Derrick be back in the groove?

Andrew Colley is certainly back in the groove. A huge day for him after several injury-plagued years.
Top 3 men had a pretty good day on a tough course. Good to see.
Rochelle Kanuho with a nice PB on a not easy course to finish ahead of Gwen. Aliphine Tuliamuk got things back on the right foot with the win and Sara Hall was close. Update: Originally I said Aliphine and Rochelle were HOKA teammates but Rochelle got dropped by HOKA this year. Anyone know who she is running for?
Gwen beat Carrie Dimoff again.
Not sure what to make of this. Gwen's not a natural at longer distances for sure, but in her approach to this whole thing and talking to her husband this week, they realize this and know it's going to take a lot of work and miles to make the US team. They want to craft her into a marathoner with a ton of work.

Rochelle Kanuho is running for herself. The official press release on your website lists her as unattached:

Great, great read as noted above. What an inspiration. Take a minute if you haven't read this piece:
https://deadspin.com/rochelle-kanuho-came-to-distance-running-the-hard-way-1783621558Is Simmons coaching her again?
Korir 5th, 1:03:24. Almost a minute behind Derrick. That's pretty shocking given the form he showed earlier this year. Anybody know what's up (minor injury, sick or just bad race)?
Who knows. My guess is that she is still in Flagstaff training with other good runners, but not sponsored by Hoka anymore.
Maybe get an interview with her? You guys are letsrun, after all.

Well then work to that level. A lot of would of done that, should have done that, will do that. Results speak for themselves however you wanna interpret it.
