Fresh legs and Mo wins - no surprise for me.
Sorry Rojo, Edris wasn't better in London, just fresher.
Good race though.
.04 seconds is so convincing of your argument...
Yes God forbid Farrah races tired or anybody actually push the pace. Next thing you know somebody will start a stopwatch...
Seriously who has fresh legs at this point?

Did you see Aden in the stands--Mo's designated stopwatch holder?
Based on the video I have seen, I wouldn't call DQ fro Chelimo v. Edris, but would on Chelimo v. Farah.
A fresh Farah will beat Edris 9/10 times, but I am impressed that Edris, Chelimo and Kejelcha proved that they are still right on Mo's butt. Great time for Mo to hang 'em up., and great race whith which to finish.

It looked to me like Edris was tying up regardless. He wasn't going to beat Farah. It did look to me like Chelimo pushed Edris a bit, which allowed Chelimo to get past him.
Chelimo had something left in the final 50 meters but no way to get around the 2-3 people in front of him, so he tried to squeeze between Edris and Farah. If Chelimo weren't boxed in he might have had a chance against Farah in the final meters.
Uh, no. Chemilo definitely, has something left at the end, but taticly screwed up and was in a bad position at the end. Yet he instead tryed to force himself through, screwing up Edris. Mo was actually looking to ty up, and Edris was catching him, and was about to overtake him when Chemilo rammed into him, causing him to lose his balance and fall.
I have no clue what you guys have been watching but chelimo deserves to disqualified, you can clearly see his arm around edris, and yes edris kept his line.

I guess we will never know. Very exciting finish. Chelimo tried to force his way between Farah and Edris, the latter clearly lost his balance before the finish line. Thoughts?
No, had kejelcha actually gone around Farah with 250 to go, it would have been London part 2.
Edris tried pulling a Shaunae Miller to win that one. Mistimed his dive. Doesn't have Miller-Uibo's height.
Edris started to fall way before Chelimo touched. And Chelimo didn't push him off balance, he barely pet him. Nevertheless if Chelimo had enough room he might have gotten Farah. He looked faster than Farah at the end but was trapped. Should have gone wide to lane 3 after the curve.
Don't think so. Edris was already diving/stumbling toward the line when Chelimo pushed him. Doing that usually causes a massive deceleration which is what happened to Edris. His only chance to beat Farah was to run through the line but he was out of gas.

Watch the replay. When they come off the final turn, Edris is out wide and Chelimo is in between Farah and Edris. The rule is they have to hold their line from that point out. Edris actually comes in on Chelimo trying to hold him off, which initiates the contact. Chelimo is not at fault here.
To further back up what you say, is there another video clip with a front view perspective out there?
Just watched it again.

^yep
No contact was too late and he was going down from leaning too early anyway.

The .gif in the race recap seems pretty evident to me. Chelimo throws a hand on both Edris and Farah, going so far as putting a hand around Farah's elbow. He clearly pulls himself forward in the last couple meters. I think Farah had the race over Edris regardless but a dirty move from Chelimo to try and force some space where there wasn't.
Chelimo is full of dirty moves; such as ditching Kenya for the US
Farrah had it won.
Chelimo definitely deserved a DQ
Who cares. One doper nearly beat another doper, and another doper was close. Chelimo is even more suspicious than Farah. He wasn't even as good as him before his sudden "improvement" to world class level.

- Agree and SO HAPPY that WCAPer Chelimo was thwarted again ... I always hope he fails.
- So now I see Chelimo refusing to wear his WCAP uniform ... instead, the fake soldier "double dips" with Nike and wears his bling and their brand just like the rest of his Rift Valley brothers. No doubt, the American taxpayer picked up his travel tab to Zurich. What a fake!
