HEY LRC, I've seen you mess around on these threads and it has to end. These people pour there lives into the sport, and you think they care at all what you have to say? NO! So STOP!

RA gets the luckiest last 100m of his career. US middle distance running is DEAD
He's surely crying right now from the embarrassment.
It's now obvious he was the most doped athlete in the history of the world. Amazing how the dope can turn someone with a ceiling of 4:00 for 1500 into an Olympic champion. It's some powerful stuff dudes.
I've been saying for years I can beat him at any distance on any day and this is more proof.
So, he didn't run 8:41 for 3200 in high school orrrrrr? You're an idiot
What's a bigger race than the Olympics? He finished fourth than first...also has 3 other world champ medals. Most of the world doesn't give a crap about a time trial in July in Monaco, but they care he's a world champ, Olympic champ, silver world winner, bronze world winner, and Olympic fourth place finisher. Sure his time trials haven't been great, but he always performs in "big time races".
Question is does he leave Nike now. Contract is up, his dad is free to coach him, and while we all know Nike has their match clauses, I bet he and his dad get some massive offers!
The guy is clearly hurt. He's been out of it all season, nearly closed up shop before USA's, but he didn't, deciding to give it a go anyway. Did it work out this time? No. But Centro deserves credit for giving it his best stab; it would have been very easy for him as Olympic champ to pull a Makhloufi and not race at all.
The guy deserves credit, too, for his latest interviews. It's pretty apparent he's caught some bad luck with injuries, but he doesn't want to cite them as the excuse for his poor performances.
For all the crap guys on this board give him for being too cocky, too celebratory, too whatever, Centro a standup guy even in defeat and deserves credit for it.

If they don't care why should we stop?
Props to him for not taking the NBC post race interview "bait", which tried to set him up by offering excuses for him. He essentially just said it has been a tough year and left it at that.
Also, credit to him for agreeing to the interview. He was disappointed and likely embarrassed and could have declined.
I am not a fan of these ______ goes home DEVASTATED memes, but in this case it seems to fit.

Got smoked. It was a real good heat but he was DFL.
We should all appreciate how special his gold was last year.
The only two guys I was confident in the final 50 were Manangoi and Kiprop. It was a blanket finish.

Why do they spend the effort calculating the 1st 3 lap times, but don't do the final lap??? It isn't just this meet. I see this in meets in the US too. If there is any lap worth calculating, it is the last lap! At the least, just show what the final 300m time was.
Has finished in the top four four times at world outdoors and world indoors, which is four more times than anyone posting on here. Bad days and bad seasons happen. Still made the final three to represent the US team, which, last time I checked is still pretty special.
He's going to be fine. Just got sick at a bad time. It happens.
josh kerr was a PSYCHO during that race
u dont no that. i could be mo farah
