Yes was an ideal preparation for the final. 5km warmup followed by a 5km tempo. Lol.

Note that Ayana ran 6400 meters at tempo, not only the last 5000 meter. She ran 6400 meter in 18.28 which is equivalent to about 14.13
correction: 18.23, equivalent to about 14.08

This lady is definitely on drugs! Must be!
She ran the last 6k at a pace that only Tirunesh/Genzebe Dibaba, Defar, Obiri, Cheruiyot and herself have ever ran for 5k.
Faster than World Record until July 2011.
She has a unique body type perfect for long distance. Very long strong legs compared to a short narrow waist very light upper body. When seeing the track from far away it looks like two legs running with no body. She has a powerful huge stride for a woman of 1.9m, some of the men have this stride. She is a locomotive! She's in a different league. I say greatest potential ever for long distance women
Any number which was listed here in the last posts is just wrong.
The current World Records stands since June 2008.
Ayana has run the last 6400m in 14:20.57 5000m pace. And this while lapping dozens of runners (at one time she has had to reduce her pace when reaching a group of runners). I would say that's easily worth for 3 seconds). So she has run the last 6400m virtually at a pace which only herself, Tirunesh Dibaba, Meseret Defar and Genzebe Dibaba ever have bettered for 5000m.
It seems obvious that sub 14:00 (definitely sub 14:05) is possible for her in a 5000m.

Fascinating to watch but bad smell.
+1

Lots of people suspect Ayana to be doping too. Where were you in the last twelve months? She is as suspicious as Marita, Jarmila, Wang, Paula, and Genzebe.
Or FloJo or Marion. We can't forget them, or jealously might set in.

It`s just a matter of time before she will be caught in a doping control. ;)
It`s not possible for a woman to run in that pace without doping. Have stayed in Ethiopia this year and was told to be injured. No races before this year and she comes out and do this run on natural training. I say ....... No way!

She is tested at or after the WC, that's obvious, meaning that you claim that their method is training on dope getting into dopy shape avoiding or fixing tests in their countries, then cleaning the body for a month or so before an international competition?
That's claim is lame, considering Armstrong was doping epo during the tour itself.

Ayana is blessed with Stamina but not speed.
If anyone is close to her to the last couple of laps, they may beat her. She has no change of gears.
Her style is to take it out of them with a gutsy front running tactic.
NOTE: She has not run recently because the Ethiopia Fedration does not allow athletes to run in the g prex months before a championship. This has been the case for a long long time.
She trains 3 times a day unlike others.
NOTE: The Ethiopian federation wanted to take the dominance from Kenya when it comes to steeplechase. They purposely directed some athlets to go down that road but that was never ging to work for Ayana. Not every decision is made by the athet her/him self in ethiopia. The federation has always had a huge say
In the world of T&F the freaks of nature come 6th or 9th or get knocked out in the heats. I've been around far too long and heard the same story when someone claims such and such is a "freak of nature." It is never the case, someone has used a quirk (or a laxity) in the testing system, in this case, the lack there of. Kenya gets picked on yet they are light years ahead of Ethiopia in this area.

But the question is. How does she get away with the doping? There is almost no control in Ethiopia and it`s easy to get the doping stuff. Just like going to the candy shop. Of course she have doctors with "silent sheet" and so on. Probably it was the same with Dibaba. 3.50 at the 1500m and now nothing without her former coach .

And if she does that, why doesn't G Dibaba? You claim that Dibaba is afraid of being caught and that's the reason for her bad shape
And why didn't she do it last year? Last year she was both before and after the olympics in the Diamond League. Why suddenly this year they should be afraid of going to the diamond league? A women can run 14:18 like Obiri but can go sub 14:10? Says who?
You don't have case.

It seems that you are naive. Read about "silent sheet" and you understand that they are "cleaned" in short time. They must be caught in a "flying doping control" and that will never happen in Ethiopia. Dibaba is out on the tour to earn her bread and butter without " Dr A. " and will not take the risk now to be caught by a sudden doping patrol.

I thought you would finish with a last sentence like: Look! It`s only Ethiopians! ;)
Emily Infield of the USA finished with a 14:25.
Girls can run fast? Well yes, yes they can. :)

Yes, only Ethiopians - and Ayana is on a completely different level than the others. Really, I have never seen distance runing like this and last year in Rio before.
Not even Emil Zatopek was ever that dominant.
(Btw: her time for the last 6400m was 1 second slower than what I have used because of a wrong number from iaaf.org...)
