I don't know if he reads letsrun, but i thought, for once, that letsrun could put the trolling aside and just make a thread about how Alan Webb impacted you. Like, to give back to the guy who gave us so much
I remember getting his Nike poster (the 2007 national title one) when I was in highschool and I remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever. It was a new thing, for me, to see a runner show that much passion, and definitely changed how I thought about the sport, and what I wanted to achieve. For a while there, I trained with the goal of being a sub 4 high schooler... Didn't happen, but Webb showed me it was alright to be super passionate about running. Thanks, Alan!
