Q: WHERE CAN I WATCH THE TRACKTOWN SUMMER SERIES?
A: The meet in New York City will be broadcast live on July 6 from 9-11 p.m. (Eastern) on ESPN. The West Coast meets will be live streamed on Facebook Live. Stay tuned for details, and Follow us on Facebook to make sure you catch the action!

I totally agree. Kezar needs to host a professional meet!
The only serious drawback (as mentioned above) is the rail. Those of you worried about the wind don't know that it's swirly (so you can have a tail wind down both straights ; )
Good luck getting Parks and Rec to get their shit together though..... Also it's near that guy who wore the Let's Run singlet and almost beat Galen last month's house.
What are these meets for anyways? We just had USAs. The Diamond League is rolling along this month.
How about an ALL-COMERS meet before the main meet so that we can all get a mark/time in to impress our same-sex mates.

The Diamond league is for the cream of the crop. This crapola is for the bottom of the barrel.
How about free Yoga tutorials before the meet?
oh there's a 5K road this year too with Alexi Pappas
2017 TrackTown Summer Series 5K Road Race will take place on July 6 at 6:30 p.m. on Randall’s Island Park:
From the posts I've read, it appears like this location is in-optimal for one reason or another. Windy, far from hotels, or some other complaint.
Sacramento was in-optimal a week ago, because of heat.
The 2016 marathon trials in LA were in-optimal due to heat, sun, and possibly humidity.
So if the T&F community in America is committed to hosting major meets in in-optimal conditions, CAN YOU PLEASE COME TO WESTERN NY??? Spread the joy to somewhere other than the California coastline!

the whole effin crew is in europe now for the circuit
better to have this team junk in october after everyone gets back
Emma Coburn is running Paris and then flying back, running in the final in NY, and then heading to Colorado to train.
I think I spoke to one other athlete at USAs who was flying back for the NY meet as well. Can't remember who it was.
The emphasis is definitely on the final meet which is in a big city and has ESPN coverage. The 1st two meets are just being streamed online.
Robby Andrews is running the Portland meet and NYC meet. Hopefully they bring in some extras and get the standard.
why does the schedule say "Elliptigo mile race"
are they seriously going to race on a track on Elliptigos?
no, just no
They are not doing this! 😂😂😂

well my first thought was that Elliptigo must just be sponsoring the mile running race
except googling it actually shows people racing elliptigos on a track
so I am kinda horrified if that is what it turns out to be

I was driving through San Fran to the airport and we went by that track and I said, "Why don't they have nationals here?" Then I figured the surface of the track must be shit. Turns out that isn't the case.
The runners can adapt to not having a warm-up track.
that and there is no room for the fans.

10,000 seats in the permanent stadium.
Next on the track is the Open 4x400. 4 teams.
200-300 fans. Classic rock on the turntable.
8x400 is next. The lead runner in lane 3 lost his shoe 5 feet into the race.
