I'm pretty much better than you at everthing. Bet I could beat you at any distance and I'm old. Tell the drug using Bromell and ALL the elites to sue me. Then they will be subject to a real test not the WADA fake. Its not slander, he is famous.

I like the call! He has the ability.

Gatlin only 9.80 with +1.6
Andre de Grasse will pull an upset and claim olympic gold

You've gotta feel sorry for Great Britain's 100m runners, who are unlikely to get within 0.3s of the medallists at the OG and thus are not world class (probably just European class).
In fact, it looks like they wouldn't even be guaranteed to beat the UK bobsleigh team down the track:

I can beat you 800m and up and I don't even run recreationally at this point; if there was an incentive and a time table to get fit I could make 400m interesting. None of that is the point though, you're just saying everyone is on drugs cause they're faster than you... It just looks bad on your end, that's all.

That's what a person not really looking for truth, but just looking to bad mouth someone else says. I never said or even implied that someone faster that me is using. My stance has always been the same The elites are on and have been for decades. Someone can be a 10.2 or 10.3 maybe even in the 10.1s but not consistent at the 10.1. Like 10-20 times a year and be clean. I was never able to run a 10.1 or 10.2 maybe. And a 10.3 only twice.
What do you think you run the 800 in and potential 400? For the record.
If I look bad what do you care? Are you trying to correct me or help? I think I don't need your help. So if it looks bad, according to YOU I'm fine with it.

I get where you're coming from as far as more or less everyone using and agree. There are probably a few anomalies who are clean but they're not out there breaking 10.00 every race like Ato, Mo Greene and Asafa did for their whole careers.
I just am not convinced on the timetable for Bromell starting to use. I'm inclined to think the drop from 10.4 to 10.27 was just growing up and getting older but anything after joining Baylor is a bit different as far as accessibility and motivation to dope is concerned.

Ok I can agree with Bromell clean at 10.27 not unreal. I sure right now I would run easy sub 55 and probably sub 215, so I think I would get you, but the mile I would be in trouble. I just ran a 620 it was brutal. First time in a long time. I cannot stand running beyond 800.
Glad we got through the dispute somewhat civilly by LetsRun standards.
I'll take a look at your mile thread and see if I have any good input.
I could break 6:00 in a mile if I had to right now. It would suck for sure though.
It's not what you want to hear but some steady state aerobic exercise would do worlds for your mile time. Even if its jog 10 minutes walk 100 meters jog 10 more minutes walk some more jog some.

Every year needs to be a no injury year.
If you have some trails nearby I would suggest jogging with walking interspersed a few times a week. Long continuous running raises stroke volume and lowers resting heart rate both of which are indicators of mile time. Hopefully a bit of trail running doesn't do anything negative to your sprint times.

Your basement?
Lets Run Makes laugh! Lets be serious guys:
We all thought Gatlin would beat Bolt last year - he cracked he crumbled, he fell to the pressure - all this talk and no delivery. age is beginning to show now, he says he's waiting to Rio to peak but realistically he is simply aging - 9.80 with a strong aiding wind behind him!
Bolt's a showman - he's going to win, it'll definitely be sub-9.80 - i think in the region of 9.66 to 9.74,9.75 depending on the wind and conditions of course!
Gatlin will claim silver in the high 9.7s, pushed by Bromell and maybe one or two other Olympic surprises we get every four years?! No matter what the 100m final will be very close and exciting and Bolt will ber hero of the Earth blah de blah
The 200m he is always game ready - fave event he'll go out with a bang - sub 19 though, no chance, no way nuh uh nope, that's impossible at this stage in time. At best maybe a 19.3?? Gatlin on tired legs will clock a 19.7, i think LaShawn has got a lot to give though he's a fast guy and slowed down in 19.75 so i reckon he'll be the closest threat to Bolt in the 200. And about Yohan Blake, forget him - he's a goner now, he's a 9.9 man no threat at all, and the 200m he wont even get into the final lets be honest.
the 4x100 however will be close - the Jamaican team likely to be:
Asafa Powell to Ashmeade to Blake to Bolt
"Good" to "Average" to "LMAO" to "FAST"
Compare it with a strong ferocious American team, i think the Americans may clinch it but you never know the baton may not get round.
ANyhow, Bolt will win not in WRs, i predict 9.69 in the 100 and 19.41 in the 200m, Gatlin 2nd in 9.78 Bromell 3rd in 9.80 and then Merritt 2nd in 19.53 and Gatlin 3rd in 19.72 - if i'm right i want a free speech rant at Nike and Rule 40 - causing so many issues

9.69 and 19.41 a bit too fast. I was being generous with a 9.72 just in case in gets a great start. the 200 is now his better event, but 19.41? he ran 19.55 slowing down last year, but he was dying. I say start at 19.50 up to 19.60. If I'm right. i right.
