Do you work for Nike or Oregon? It amazes me that that's legal. It's embarrassing really. All wearing the same uniform. THe same. Mind dumb robots.
No I don't. Just a fan in the stands with an iPhone. If I worked for Nike I would have called it the Nike Elite Boys Mile.
I'm really impressed with the live stream and live results. NBC is a so frustrating to watch and listen too. This live stream commentator is much better and he's doing everything solo The live results on the usatf page is also very nicely done.

I agree.
I really don't want to see the clown show ruin the 10k

Sorry, I'm not a great multi-tasker.
A kid named Brown won the boys mile.
dont worry. it will be a clown show
Where's the women's 10000?????????????????????
When the stream is going, absolutely. Sadly we are back to the clown show. Related question: are you allowed to say Hayword Field without the modifier Historic?
75 seconds first lap.
Will the women's 10,000 get more or less coverage than the clown show last night?
When was Hasay allowed in??
Natosha Rogers is in the race. Haven't seen her in a long time.
Yep. "Clown" stream took over for the "track fan" stream. The discus women were getting some nice coverage too. I'm not a huge throws fan but it is the oly trials final so I think they should get some attention rather than nbc showing the top 3 recap. The "track fan" stream was great for the shot last night. The commentator was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Now we have to sit here and be frustrated for a few hours but have no other choice unless you went to the meet.

Women's 10,000 on the track.
There is a breeze but it is hotter than last night. This might be another war of attrition.
It is not hotter than last time.
The women’s 25 lapper began under sunny skies and no breeze. The temperatures, are a bit lower (in the mid-70s at 11:00 AM). Nevertheless, the conditions are dissimilar to what most top-level distance runners have become accustomed. To those that complain, however, the folks at USATF can claim some logic behind the decision for this race: the women’s 10K final in Rio will also be run at 11:00 AM. No complaining there. Whether any of these decisions were ultimately dictated by NBC is moot: warm and sunny on a late morning is the reality. And with temperatures on Saturday likely to be the warmest of the entire week (the forecast high today is 86 degrees), starting the race before noon is the best conditions possible given the time schedule for today’s competition.
Huddle on front, followed by Hasay. Another 77.
First mile in 5:05 ish
76 lap 4. No change up front.
Huddle wants to lead this baby from start to finish. 5:05 first 1600.
Molly Huddle and Kim Conley went straight to the front and the pace was honest from the very beginning, as the leaders hit 75.01.
By 800, the pack had already begun to string out in single file as Huddle went through in 2:32.59. Behind Huddle was Aliphine Tuliamok, Jordan Hasay, and Conley. 1200 was 3:49.78 as Huddle continued to lead. The pace was honest although each lap was gradually getting slower.
Huddle remained the clear pace setter as the group hit 1600 in 5:05. The main contenders remained uncahged in a lead pack of 19.
5:05.87 1600
