I thought for sure given this guy's apparent fitness, he could have run 305. But missing the timing mats on top of never coming close before or after speaks volumes. LR should offer him the Rossi deal and publicize it.

this is going to blow up into a racial war. 3...2....1.....
This is a sad story. When you look at his Instagram and Facebook group he is inspiring a population that is typically not involved in running. Now he is going to have to ask for forgiveness and his reputation and hard work could all quickly come to an end.
He needs to own up to it right now before it gets worse. Lots of his team members say cheating to get into Boston is no big deal in the scope of life. Perhaps not, but his integrity does matter. We should demand more from leaders. He needs to set the example that cutting the course was a lapse in judgement and that he should be DQ'd and return his Boston medal and ask the BAA to remove him from the results, before they do anyway.
Now is his chance.

Dummy. The better approach is to never race but claim amazing times and build a lucrative business from your lies. Maybe pretend you invented something called "hybrid athlete" training. Then call up and threaten the Brojos if Letsrun has a thread about it.
Cheating in an obvious way and then doubling down with a clearly fake run track is just dumb.
I think he's got the "threatening the Brojos" part down. There was another thread about this yesterday that I think must have gotten deleted, unless I'm just missing it somehow.
Thanks Doubler.
I may not agree with your methods, but i believe your heart is in the right place. Anyone who sets a 40 minute PR and has a chip malfunction has a lot of explaining to do. Especially when their gun time and chip time are minutes apart.
So it begins.
How come his age at the questionable half last year is 41 but his age from Boston says 35? Of course his sheep will defend him. They don't want to believe that they've been sold snake oil.

There is nothing suspicious about any of this gentleman's times. You are all just haters and home wreckers.

His Instagram is just pictures of him, many in sexually suggestive poses. See:

What's worse, he has many pictures with his ill received Boston Medal and pics of his Confirmation of Acceptance.
Dear Boston Marathon,
Seeing as I believe I am the only non-professional runner to have legitimately qualified for the Boston Marathon, please forward my masters champion award to my home address.
Thank you for your attention.

look at his NYRR history and try to figure out how old he is.

This is just mind boggling. His ages make no sense - at all. The photos seem to prove it is the same guy in Brooklyn.
There is more to this man's dishonesty than just his fraudulent BQ it seems.
After our initial back and forth, and right after I made the blog post, he said he had spoken to an attorney. I haven't heard anything since.
He also may have threatened legal action against someone that shared the article.
I was extremely careful in the post to just put out the facts and not make any conclusions myself. As I added information to the post it got a little cumbersome. I may do a Cliffs Notes version.
As far as a DQ goes..the current owners of NJ marathon (Pacers Events) did not run the event in 2015, so they do not feel they are in the position to take action. I am working on contacting the prior group and the timing company.
And we know that Boston won't take action without New Jersey first issuing a DQ.
He cheated. You brought this to his attention, you brought it to the race's attention, and then you brought it from your blog to LRC.
What is your ultimate goal? Are you just looking to publicly shame the guy?
Hi Marlon!

Interesting. Doubler, were you able to check his splits at the 2012 Philadelphia Marathon? I couldn't find results with splits.

IT DOES SEEM EXCESSIVE. PERHAPS JUST CONTACTING THE RACE TO DQ IS THE RIGHT WAY TO GO????
