Me too. I got injured in Nike Frees. I've never been injured in other light weight shoes like hyperspeed or Adidas Boost. The Nike Frees are gimmicks IMO. Worst shoe ever.
The Nike Frees are a great shoe IMO. BUT, you have to transition into them as they are a low drop shoe. If you buy a pair and make them your only shoe you will likely get injured, as they change your foot strike. You need start by running in them a mile or two a day and gradually increase your mileage in them. As you transition to the mid foot strike, it puts stresses on different parts of your legs that your body is not used to. Too much too soon and your legs can't handle it.
The other problem with the Frees is you don't get a lot of mileage out of them. As a light weight shoe they break down quickly. I get about 300 miles, maybe 350 max before they are toast. Running more than that and you are asking for injury. So, they are a great shoe, but pretty expensive at $120 a pair for 300-350 miles.
This is also why they are not a good shoe for high school runners. Typically kids train in only one pair of shoes. So, if they buy frees they don't transition into them. Switching to frees as their only trainer could cause problems, and parents can't afford to keep buying $120 shoes after 300-350 miles.
